the torts one in 2014 was justified cause hartley literally tried to target star canuck players so hartley was the one in the wrong and torts was simply just trying to show he'll have his players backs at all costs. The one with Vigenault and Bolland in 2011 was kind of jsutified too cause the Sedins were 2 of the greatest players on teh planet and that was also the year where they finally not only got their revenge on the hawks but also nearly won the cup entirely and similar to torts in 2014 AV was simply just trying to stick up for them and show that he'll always have their backs since that is apart of being a head coach. The crosby one in 2009 was ridiculous for sure especially with him as a captain i mean you really can't take 2 minutes out of your day to shake someones hand when you have all night to celebrate? Cmon just immaturity at its finest i mean the handshake line is the best thing hockey has.

Honestly, they should just get rid of the LTIR or at least restrict it by making the cap apply in the playoffs or not allowing players who's LTIR cap hit was used to aquire players in trades play in the play in the playoffs with a compromise to either being a long overdue large cap increase.

in defense of the player at #6 I've seen this one before. the player in question was returning to the bench essentially dazed and confused from the hit he took.

The thing about hockey is the stuff that doesn't get filmed or looked up on often, players know, little spears, hooks, clutching, grabbing, holding stickers, interference, by accident, 😉, hockeys full of these, that's why frustration builds up, in my day I had my eyelid torn off from a butend,exposing my eye, players were throwing up so I knew it must be bad, I had it stitched back on in my hockey gear,lol, so many stitches and cuts from old days no face mask days, you get pissed off, refs don't see it,😉, it's the nature of the game.
the dirtiest play in NHL history? that was pretty dirty, especially with it taking place after the whistle, but Claude Lemeuix ramming Drapes lower jaw into the lower half of the boards right at the bench not even getting a mention in this vid calls into question Slapshot's intelligence.
As a pens fan, I try to get why Sid took so long to go shake hands seeing his teammates doing it, baffles me. I get it, he’s excited as hell with first SC. Still, there’s plenty of time to celebrate. Go shake hands and respect other team. How didn’t anyone say “Sid look, they lining up.” or other things to get him over. It’s strange because he seems to be a respectful person.

Dach grow quick enough mainly because of injuries, it was the coaching that held him AND Alex DeBrincat back. The coaches kept bouncing them from line to line which doesn't build any chemistry with any certain line and usually putting them down on the bottom 2 lines that seen little actual ice time. That's why Kane wanted out, he seen what the coaches were doing to the next stars and hated it. Both Kirby and Alex are gone now but nothing is really changing, they're doing the same thing with Lukas Reichel now. It wouldn't surprise me 1 bit if the Hawks are doing it on purpose so they don't have to pay these guys "star" money.
