My first post pandemic international trip this year didn't go so well. As you would have guessed, all the flights were full with people coughing everywhere. I came down with a flu/cold the 2nd day I landed which resulted in a constant coughing fit. A week and a half later as I gotten better, I ended up with 5 days of explosive diarrhea even after maxing out my daily dose of Imodium. Finally, on the day before my return flight, I got flu/cold again which got me worried that I might get pulled aside for COVID test as my nose just turned into a leaky faucet. Mind you that I had my flu shot and COVID booster shot 4 weeks before my trip and that didn't seem to help at all. On the bright side, I should be protected for my upcoming 30-day trip to Japan during the Sakura season. With my luck, I may have allergic reaction to Sakura pollen.

@@grrrltraveler Couldn't really tell exactly, the best guess was I got it from Tam Vi (one Michelin) in Hanoi. The two cold Moroccan mint drinks were probably the culprit. They say don't drink the ice in Vietnam, guess that mean no cold drink unless is in a can or sealed bottle. The second probable restaurant was Yat Lok (one Michelin) in Hong Kong. The place was so gross, I couldn't understand how it got awarded Michelin star every year since 2015. The food was not even that good as compare to his brother's store (Kam' Roast Goose). That one also has a wall full of Michelin stars. My first of many diarrhea was after the dinner at Yat Lok.

Other than the sanitizing, it looks like travel has not changed much. Although, I will wear a mask when I get back to traveling.😷

Couple of months back there was a federal court ruling that all covid guidelines are not mandatory anymore but for safety and health concern, passengers are still allowed to wear mask and carry hand sanitizers along with medication requirements while travelling. The meal you ordered looks quite dry specially the chickpeas masala channa masala along with the naan and pulao rice. Here in India on and off they have covid guidelines but slowly they are phasing out such guidelines in the future. Overall it's a great video and we hope to see upcoming videos from Mexico.
It’s pulao rice? I’ve been calling it the wrong rice and they have that rice a lot.
They cannot take away your right to wear a mask or use sanitizer. So as long as that is possible immune compromised folks are still good. 😃
