- Austerity Wigan, I walk our towns and find out the key issue's told by the people that live there. Many issues arise but sadly not many solutions. It seems bleak times in our British towns at the moment and in the near future.

Wigan Warriors are the current Rugby League World Club Champions, something to be proud of, but it is a shame what is happening to the towns and the World in general.
They are, I coached at Wigan Athletic but we worked closely with Warriors. They are a fantastic club and very community driven.

Nice video mate. The big cities are still full and functioning but if you visit any small or market town in the Midlands or the north it's the same story. High rates, austerity and mass migration means the average working classes are being pushed out of all levels of society. Which in turn will see a huge rise in drug addiction, homelessness and crime. It's actually tragic to know that the younger generations won't live a good a life as their parents and grandparents. Keep up the good work.

Immigrants contribute towards the economy. They bring money, skills, and culture.
They're not the reason for this country being in a mess.
We have always had immigrants in this country.
@@JustinI340 Immigration has been a benefit to this land historically and have of course led to the benefit of our society and given our history of colonialism and commonwealth it's par for the course but i am talking about the mass, unchecked migration of the past few years, if you add a million plus people a year to an economy in decline the effects will be negative. We are told our birth rates are in decline yet need to build 400,000 new homes..... all of those people require jobs, services, hospitals , schools etc. " We have always had migrants in this country" is a straw man argument that the left parrots.

wow its changed hugely, i was there last in 1981, its very unkempt isn't it what shame, that homeless guy how sad was that when illegal migrants are in lovely hotels in Manchester. hey watch the waist line lol, yeh we used to love the pies lol, and the pig trotters lol. used to love the market went in there all the time, my mate owned the pet shop back then.
Yeh the little streets are still there i am enjoying this bringing back a few memories. My grandson is autistic nowt wrong with it lots of famous people with it. Did you know Elon Musk is autistic, so was Albert Einstein plus many more. Just be who you are and enjoy doing your channel your doing ok hun, i like this documentary it has connected me way back to memories i had forgotten. THANK YOU.
I think I know which guy you mean at the pet stall, always a friendly guy. Did he speak with a slight liverpool accent or is that my imagination! I felt sorry for the first guy I walked away thinking can I do this! 😂😊

@EvEl31 yes do you know it was on my list to do and got completely lost with time. I was such a fan of Wigan Pier and Maximes when I was growing up. I'm still partial to a bit of wigan pier to this day! 😂 sadly missed! Thank you!

I think us Brits can only make a judgement on 'foreigners' when as a nation we learn to behave whilst abroad ourselves. Otherwise it's hypocritical.
But this isn't a pop at you in the slightest. You just have to be careful when dealing with blokes like that. I live in Wigan myself and have done so most of my life (I'm now in my 40's) and sadly there are way too many casual racists here.
There's too many immigrants there. The place has been ruined.

How many immigrants is too many? Do you not think people might think with your username that you are an immigrant? What makes you more important than anyone else? Does someone have to be born somewhere in order to live in that place? Sounds a bit fishy to me.
@@SiLatics56 Under Blair we had more immigrants in 11 years than in the previous 900. Now it's even worse. If you don't see the problems it causes then I'd say you're fishy.
@@SiLatics56people are daft pal. The problem isn't immigrants. It's the unchecked and undocumented masses of men arriving on our shores that scares people. If they are fleeing war then where are the women and children? Do they leave them in a war zone?

You popped up on my reccomended and was surprised to see content about Wigan. Firstly great job ignore the jealousy. Second. How sad i live in skem ive visited Wigan ALOT not for a fair few years its been at least 3 yrs gobsmacked about the galleries i really am! I Im hoping you carry this on its fab to see somewhere i know as well as Wigan at the heart of what your doing.liked and subscibed. ✌️🫶
