I rarely take any loads for less than $50..and yes ask them for more.. always counter offer..never except the going rate....NEVER NEVER NEVER..., I try to stay firm but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do $40 is my minimum anything over 10 miles is $50 and up off the rip
