This was unfortunate, but given how the Heat and Knicks were trading 10-0 runs the entire game in 2 minute spurts, I thought it was a good idea to leave them in until the final 3 minutes to make sure the lead doesn't get cut for sure. I honestly thought Randle should've passed it up to Brunson for a wide open 3, but instead he decides to take it into 2 defenders to draw the And 1. It is what it is, good thing X-rays showed not much damage. Hopefully tonight's MRI will confirm this.

When you dislocate it once it gets very easy to dislocate again for a while. Have had it happen in both shoulders and even had to sleep in a specific way because it would slip out again easily.

That was the exact way when I fallen from my bike two years ago and result was a type 2 joint separation. I didn't want to get a surgery and it took about one year to fully recover. I just hope his case is a simple dislocation.

@@MichaelJefferson-yt8dy Doctor said "you'd wish your collarbone would be broken before separation" and then I figured out that I fucked up badly. Before that it was weird for me to hear athletes favoring broken bones over damaged joints.
I had the same injury a year and a half ago. Flipped on my bike. Took me about that long to heal. Still have muscle loss, soreness and a bone sticking out of my shoulder but it could always be worse 👍

BTW, clipless pedals? Because everything else is the exact same LMAO. If it's a type 1 or 2, your collarbone will return to its usual form over time. But it takes longer than healing itself. Type 3 and above requires a surgery to heal both functionally and cosmetically I believe.

Ive dislocated my shoulder many times and I can tell just by looking at his shoulder that it was dislocated. It’s subtle but you can see that the deltoid was slightly flat and not rounded since the shoulder is out of joint the deltoid caves in a bit and you can also tell because the end of the shoulder blade points out

Dislocated shoulder for sure! Most dislocated shoulders can only be put back in under Anesthesia . You don’t just pop a dislocated shoulder in can easily cause more damage. He out for the year just like ja! 8-10months

Unfortunately shoulder injuries are debilitating and take a lkng time to recover and gain a full range of motion. Extensive rehab and aggressive Physical therapy are required for the duration of recovery which usually take a good 6-12 months depending on the individual. He's out for the season, sucks for the Knicks but that's the way life goes.

It’s rare for shoulder dislocations to be that simple, when it dislocates once it’s easy for it to keep happening unless you get surgery. He’s gonna be out a while I think, possibly season ending
its pure luck if it pops back in easily after a true dislocation. especially with that much muscle mass.

Not really, all they have to do is put pack in place. He will be back in within 1-2 weeks
Depends if he did significant ligament damage or not. If there is ligament damage, they'll likely send him in for surgery to fix it all. So he'll miss 4 to 6 weeks.
If there's no surgery, he could be back in 2 weeks.

@@zoekeys1814looks like an anterior dislocation (humerus pops forward). Labrum tears are common when that happens. I'm praying he doesn't have any problems with that. Once you dislocate something once, it tends to happen a lot easier, especially when it comes to the shoulders. I never had problems with mine until I dislocated it hooping. Had it pop out 4 more times within a 3 month span.

Dislocated shoulder is minimum 4 weeks but he will likely need surgery which is season ending. Redislocation is very easy after it happens once, especially playing nba level. That’s why Kevin love got surgery immediately after he dislocated his
