- Here's RADIO DOUGH, one of the earliest of the non-Stooge Columbia two-reel comedies (and the only one I've come across with George Sidney and Charlie Murray). They made 6 shorts as a team at the studio, all released in 1934. Charlie Murray would make one solo effort the following year.

I like how the music sounds at 0:33-0:52. It sounds better around 0:33-0:52.
I noticed the opening music was lifted from the feature "Ann Carver's Profession" (1933). This short was a tad tedious in places (the tailors' scene) but overall a funny short, especially with all the confusion at the gangsters' hideout. I am glad examples of non-Stooge shorts survive today. These are quite rare as the films were difficult to market on TV with their dated humor and non-memorable personalities (with the exceptions of Andy Clyde and Harry Langdon, but their shorts did not reach anywhere near the TV airplay as the Stooges). George Sidney and Charlie Murray may just belong on the baby frightening hour, from what I have seen on the comment section. However, I enjoy their gentle ethnic humor, and appreciate how this would get audiences rolling in 1934.
In case you don't recognize him, the drunken customer is Walter Brennan, in his early days before becoming a big star.
I wish I had a better copy, but take what I can get...especially when a title like this isn't the easiest to track down.
You need to post more of rare Jules White shorts non-stooge

Have any of their Cohens and Kellys features survived?
OrangeYouGlad 90s I've seen a few of their features listed in video trading circles, but I haven't seen one personally
Hope someone finds them.
I have this on DVD, but I really don't care for it, sorry.
