great job! i've been thinking about doing something like this with my FT891. It's in my Jeep as a mobile radio right now, but sometimes I think about pulling it out and doing it as a go box.
Nice! I plan on using the Same HF radio along side a Yaesu FTM500 dual band. I'll have HT docking stations and USB charge plugs powered by numerous Bienno Batteries. I will add firewall plugs to daisychain this into a solar charged power pack.
would also love to see how the ATU-130 works, is it like the LDG tuner where you push the button and it tunes the antenna controlling the radio for you?
No it's actually using sense. No cable required. It will tune automatically, or you can tune it manually. But you can't tune it from the radio as there is no cable.
