Brighton Works Weekend | Bluebell Railway | 26/08/2024

The Bluebell Railway held a 'Brighton Works Weekend' as part of the launch of Brighton Atlantic Beachy Head over the August Bank Holiday Weekend. Unfortunately LB&SCR Terrier No 72 'Fenchurch' had failed during the weekend and was replaced by SE&CR O1 No 65 (Build at Ashford Works). (Some sources suggest the problems with Fenchurch were to do with leaking tubes.)
Locomotives featured:
LB&SCR H2 Atlantic No 32424 'Beachy Head'
SR Bulleid Rebuilt Battle of Britain Class No 34059 'Sir Archibald Sinclair'
BR Standard 4MT Tank No 80151 (masquerading as classmate No 80154)
SE&CR O1 No 65 (covering for Fenchurch)
