Back in the 80s myself and a friend tried to trace where the Bluebell line came into Lewes station. There was a building there but there was a broken railway sign overgrown with brambles. The wood yard at Chailey then still had a remnant of the old line.

You can literally hear the power of those steam locomotives, they are the kings of the railway!

looks like the q class and 73082 are trying to recreate the last days of the pines express of the 1960s

The Bluebell Railway should really focus on reinstating the bridge over the road south of the Sheffield Park and reinstate the trackbed and reopen the line to Lewes as well as Newick and Chailey and Barcombe Stations by doing a remake of the Great St Trinians Train Robbery.

      The question is, who's paying?

Sounds all good idea and would be amazing, but in reality who will pay for this to happen? Unless you can get a fundraise up and running which I would happily support and share. Who gonna pay? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Because this is the 100 billion pound question.

looks like 73082 is trying to disguise his identity as 73087 which is the engine which was already scrapped

OK FOR THOSE FORTUNATE TO STILL HAVE BOTH LEGS, BUT I HAVE LOST LOWER LEGS AS FATHER TOOK IT OUT ON ME FOR HE BEING INJURED ON A 2ND WAR MINE, BY MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY ABUSING ME FOR MANY YEARS. CONSULTANTS CONFIRM THAT ALL THE SEVERE ANXIETY STRESS TRAUMA AND HYPERTENSION I WAS FORCED TO SUFFER EVENTUALLY CAUSED BAD CIRCULATIOIN, BLOOD CLOTS AND THE AMPUTATIONS, FEB 2O16 TO AUG 2016 AND ALSO CONFIRMED THAT I AM AN INDIRECT WAR CASUALTY. BUT DESPITE THE GOVERNMENT VIA WAR UNLAWFULLY ROBBING ME OF MY MOBILITY, I CAN NOT GET NHS PROSTHETICS DUE TO CUTS AND RE STRAINTS. CROWDFUNDING FAILED TO RAISE THE VERY URGENTLY NEEDED WELL DESERVED FUNDS FOR A PRIVATE CLINIC TO REGAIN MY STOLEN MOBILITY. YET SELFISH PEOPLE WRONGFULLY PONCE OFF THE PUBLIC TO FUND NON URGENT PRIVATE PROJECTS. CROWDFUNDING IS REALLY ONLY FOR VERY URGENT HEALTH NEEDS LIKE MY OWN AND URGENT PUBLIC HERITAGE PROJECT NEEDS TO BENEFIT ALL - VERY OUT OF ORDER AND UNFAIR. I AM A VERY DEPRESSED GUY IN LONDON BEDRIDDEN AND WITH NO ONE TO TAKE ME TO EVENTS,.
