Our team at Hatch Exhibits recently completed a unique project for our client Impact XM - a lung-shaped art piece that showcased a large span of our capabilities.
This one-of-a-kind installation began with our talented CAD designers, who brought the client's vision to life through detailed 3D modeling. Our metal fabrication experts then precisely cut and welded the brackets and base shapes using our advanced CNC plasma equipment.
In parallel, our 3D printing lab was in full force, producing the intricate engine components and artist supplies - including paint brushes, tubes, and cups - using resin 3D printers. Our graphics team also contributed, designing the labels for the "paint" elements.
The engine components were expertly primed, sanded, and painted in our state-of-the-art paint booth, while smaller pieces received a custom canned spray treatment. Finally, our skilled carpenters carefully constructed a customized shipping crate to safely transport the full assembly to its final destination in Spain.
This project truly exemplifies the collaborative, cross-functional capabilities of the Hatch Exhibits team. We're proud to have brought this unique, lung-shaped installation to life for Impact XM.
