According to Army Lt. General Daniel P. Bolger's 2014 book entitled Why We Lost: A General's inside account of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars America had a crisis of leadership under President Obama when General McChrystal was on active duty and we lost the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Historian Mark Moyar's 2015 book entitled Strategic Failure agrees with Bolger's analysis and adds that President Obama also lost wars in Mali, Yemen and Libya.
