The Deep Dark Woods dropped by CBC's Radio 2 Drive for a Session in Studio 211 performing music from their new release 'The Place I Left Behind'. - Видеоклипы
The music that this band produces is right in that spot between sleep and awake, right where you want to be.
Didgeman80 I can totally understand this comment on so many levels. 👍
I just woke up at close to midnight with this song in my head. I get it
Ryan has one of the most haunting voices I've ever heard. Gives me chills every time
I loved this song. Great melody. Great arrangement. Its sad how even now not a lot of people know about them. Those who do definitely have more enriched lives. I won't rest until everyone I know learns of Deep Dark Woods and the wonderful music they produce.
you're the man
daaaaamn this song is crazy good. thanks spotify morning acoustic set for introducing and excellent job TDDW guys
Just discovered these guys and I can’t believe that they’re not more well known.
Haunting and beautiful, like a ghost ship finally returning to port
Just moved from a big city to another.. and heard this one on the radio as i was driving. Perfect. Simply amazing song
smooth, fluid, very sensual! beautiful harmonies, soulful, touching. makes me long for the northwoods of ontario.........peaceful!
The very first time i heard this song, i was in tears. Some songs get into your soul immediately and have a real visceral effect..
Hauntingly beautiful, and biographical
Couldn't agree more!
So many views and 1k likes? Are you all serious?
Anyway, this is pure bliss!♡
Saw these guys in Bristol England in a Little church basement, they are awesome
hope to see them again in Toronto. Down to earth guys. Met the lead singer.
Just love this band... Always in my headphone.
This song is emotional for me
Us too!
They got something figured out here. Think it has to do with feeling, simplicity, and honesty.
One of the best live bands I have seen in years seen them in Edinburgh ,Sneaky Pete's 31/1/2014 they were fantastic Go and see them if you get the chance !!
We met In Bristol Uk last year. Love your music. You have to have that type of voice to come across. Keep up the good work, I envy you, re the music . You have talent. Who would think from Saskatoon meeting in the Uk. Love to see you perform in Montreal.
just gorgeous. there is just something so satisfying about a lovely alt-country song. i'd love to see this band do a tour with richmond fontaine, my favorite alt-country band of all time.
simply awesome....
Great songs always from DDW. And damn good singing/playing.
I miss my home town, the place I left behind, where my childhood start, where the girl with the softest touch... Big city have a lot of fun but I never really happy
Brilliant song, brilliant band. Saw them at Vega. Awesome.
These guys are the Bomb!! Best stuff I've heard in years
Amazing, mind-blowing show in Stockholm yesterday! I hadn't even heard of them a week ago (yeah, shame on me!). They're one of my all-time favorite bands already.
Ideal para la cuarentena...gracias.. mucha FUERZA para todos
that's very nice how an Gibson SG can work with so soft and loving songs not just with hard rock.
Keep going, DDW. You guys deserve fame and fortune.
This song reminds me of an older song. So much so that I thought this was a cover... Can't figure out what song I'm reminded of though. Good tune
Magical ❤️
such a smooth and pleasant sound. An old school feel...Neil Young meets Gordon Lightfoot!
Such a pretty song
very good song guys!
love it, thank you!
saw em at the end of the road. they nailed it.
so great, nice discovery
Being played in the UK on BBC.. great song
I don't have this new one yet, but I'm going to have to get it. all killer, no filler!
Love the Neil Young vibe going on
You guys are awesome! Keep coming through Regina! :D
This is how I'm gonna handle this. Before he even started to sing I knew it was a win. So slow and easy it's a beast.
Thanks for this creation :)

@jadben Theyre playing The Deep Dark Woods on the radio?? There is hope left...
Like he was running them dirt roads right beside me
Is Burke playing a Fender Deluxe Reverb?
Good song, reminds me a lot of Neil Young
YEAH
seriously? that's good for them..hope they get some needed exposure..if people knew just how good these guys are. Hearing that tells me a shift towards real music is coming again..and it makes me smile, then laugh, then cry, then wimper, then laugh again. None of those emotions have anything to do with music. I am just sharing because I can and its youtube. Peace out.
audio honey
Τι κομματάρα ρε φίλε
You remind me of Gordon Lightfoot in this song :)
Non male... mi ci sono imbattuto per caso, ma devo proprio dire che questa canzone mi piace. :-)
I don't really like calling this alternative country...just call it what it is: folk rock, awesome, pure, simple, folk rock...
ben howard in guitar
The song is awesome. But am I the only one who thinks he's completely high on this video? )
I love to listen to them while high. Cannabis + deep dark woods = a perfect night
