$20 for a precon upgrade? Oh yeah! Anowon, the Ruin Thief is a great commander for Rogue Tribal and the upgrades I mention go further into milling our opponents.
All together it will for $40 for a commander deck. That's insane. WotC decided to price the commander decks for $20 which is great for all players, especially new ones who don't want to spend $45 for a game they may not even play... $20 is a great deal and I really recommend picking a deck up if you get the chance.

Some really good changes, I just have 1 tiny question.
You've added 10 cards IN, but only advised taking OUT 9, unless I've missed something glaringly obvious. Any advise for the 10th out card if I'm not wrong?

I've added megrim and peer In to the abyss. So far..... I just picked this deck up. Removed scourage the fleets and notion theif

A friend got me both of these decks as a gift and your video was so much more helpful than what others are putting out there. I really think a $20-25 hard budget for upgrades on a sub $20 precon is ideal.

Great suggestions within budget, would love to see an upgraded version of this video with $100 budget. Bruvac is outright broken for this deck but very expensive..
Bruvac is still in that $40 range. I'm not sure if JumpStart will ever go down in price.
Wooah that infinite combo was crazy. Can't imagine mill out my opponent. Great video as always 😊. Looking forward for more precon upgrades

Thank you so much! I want to play with the mill mechanic and with effects that get better the more cards an enemy has in his graveyard. All other videos were about rogue tribal but your video was just what I was looking for :D. My girlfriend will definately hate this deck😈
I really wanted to go with mill because I enjoy it. I’m glad you had the same idea! I hope your deck beats up all the opponents🙂
So far I only made two changes
1) I removed Scourge of Fleets for Zareth San, the Trickster
2) I removed Faerie Vandal for Ashiok, Nightmare Muse
I want to get Zareth, he’s so good.
As for the changes, I like Zareth in the deck. Did you add Ashiok to disrupt the opponent more? I can see a little bit of a mill theme except the cards get exiled.
@@triplemangothreat my FLGS had a single of Zareth for sale and I couldn't pass up his "definitely NOT Ninjutsu" ability, as for Ashiok, I knew I wanted a planeswalker in the deck, and he fit the bill better than most of the ones in my possession, though I am questioning whether I should put the original Ashiok in instead, but either way he can be pretty disruptive... I'm also contemplating both Mirko Vosk and Phenax for the deck, and trying not to disrupt the Rogue Tribal part too much
Ha, “definitely not ninjitsu” . That’s funny 😆 But yeah I’m confused why they didn’t choose ninjitsu for him 🤷♀️
I totally agree with keeping the rogue tribal for the deck.
Good choices. You could also swap out Nightveil Sprite for a Looter il-Kor as that is an upgrade in abilities. If playing multiple opponents, definitely Murder out for Curtains' Call.

One of the "key" additions I made was Key to the City. Helps get your rogues through for damage (especially Anowon) and be a useful political tool when someone else at the table is a threat. Since most of the rogues have low CMCs, paying the 2 mana to draw a card on untap never felt taxing.
I also swapped out the 3 CMC mana rocks for 2 CMC ones. The ideal start would be turn 1 rogue, turn 2 mana rock, turn 3 Anowon, attack and draw a card.
Those are great suggestions! I didn't think about Key to the City. When I think of that card I think of discard decks like Anje Falkenrath. Thank you for the comment!😀
Traumatize, telepathy, maddening cacaphony, teferi's tutelage, peer into the abyss, underworld dreams(add this to inf combo)
Maddening Cacophony is my new favorite mill card 😁

I also made a deck with anowon...i play all the rogues from zendikar rising they are pretty good
And i also play with some ninjutsu cards and zareth.
I love it to get permanents from my enemies graveyards.
And with agent of treachery and some other cards to copy him i get control of the whole board. I love this deck its so funny to play.

Hello! I have pinned a comment that has the 10 cards I would remove. Sorry for the confusion!
The upgrades are fine but I think you should emphasize where you are taking the deck (which in this case is mill.) When I Anowon, i think rogue aggro, not mill. Clarifying your direction allows viewers to know why they are taking out certain things over others.

That's a great choice. Since you won't be doing any aristocrat things in the deck, I think that's the one to pick.

@@triplemangothreat its my number 1 card from Zendikar Rising, solely for how broken it is with Bruvac. For one more colorless than Traumatize, you mill out all your opponents.

Sadly Bruvac is $40 right now ☹️ I am hoping he goes down in price. Maybe he’ll drop after the hype of Zendikar?
Traumatize is a great mill card and it’s only $3
@@triplemangothreat Bruvac won't drop (same with Allosaurus Shepherd, Tinybones, Muxus, and the other Mythics) until WotC gets off their butts and actually drops the proper runs of JumpStart.
