You wanna go to third world impoverished countries because they offer the illusion of paradise in their all-inclusive resorts where you are treated like royalty for a week at a cheap cost - this is the real price. There are plenty of islands in the Caribbean that cost a lot more to visit, like Bermuda, the Caymans, St. Thomas - to name a couple or three, but they have the infrastructure to provide relative safety and/or at least an appropriate response. You are more likely to be a victim of something where you live. And you can also fall off a balcony where you live when you are pissed drunk.
