Affordable for who ? You add property taxes and homeowners insurance and if you lucky to have 20% down your still looking at a huge monthly payment. What is interest going for now ??..... 7%

You make a good point Mark. "Affordable" is a subjective term. Depends on who's buying the home. I guess for you it's not affordable. We'd be happy to help you find something affordable to you if you'd like? As it relates to this home and it's location, it is indeed, affordable. Relative to the other options in the area. As a realtor, I can help buyers, sellers and investors navigate the real estate market. But I can't change the real estate market. The average home in the area is $644K. The Zestimate on this property $638K. The property was listed for $589K. That's 8.5% below the average price. You have to add tax, insurance and interest to anything you buy, so not really sure what that has do do with this individual home's affordability. That impacts the entire market. Which I agree is way less affordable than it was 3 years ago. I don't have a time machine for my clients to use. But I do have knowledge, skills and experience to put to work for anyone who needs to transact real estate in any market.
