I actually talked to the company that is removing it today and the machine their using is called the (versabar10,000) (Google for pictures) they will begin cutting at the beginning of July all the chains are already installed and the mesh net is placed all the way around the ship also

I welded up the pipe piles for this project . I've been looking for a source to see it in action but no luck.

I think this is the plan that was passed over, from the contractors who tried to sue & lost.
So instead they use a anchor chain. And can't get though section 7.
