Funny init, same thing happened with decent lighting for locos, small suppliers figured it out and made it work really well then the rtr mob rode the coat tails into it being sort of an industry standard. Now this has come along and the same will happen. Always go with a small supplier if you can, they are the vanguard of innovation and quality with stuff that will teach you something other than how to feel used as your paycheck disappears in exhange for things that give you no sense of reward or feeling of owning something that isn't what everyone else does 😄 Love this mans work, keep wondering how small he can get this, it would just be cuteness overload to have a little peckett or such with his magic effects in it.
Great video Matt it did look very good, originally I don’t think I was a huge fan of this sort of thing at first but must admit the more I see it and hear the sound I do gradually find myself becoming more of a fan, if the weathering is done by TRS they seem to do it just right in my opinion, they don’t go over the top and make the whole locomotive filthy.
Matthew I didn't use headphones tho apparently it was magic to watch with it's sound and smoke so realistic like you find on a preserved heritage railway. JJ
@@kevvynolan8753 what goes up must come down or stick to something so eventually the layout or the room and furnishings would also end up with the colouring on it. Would depend how much you ran it obviously but that's the long term logical outcome. The bigger issue is how it effects the process at play and how it effects the mist forming, anyone with an airbrush will tell you what a difference a tiny shift in viscosity makes between a nice fine spray and a blobby mess. Just my two cents Mr TRS may have a more detailed answer. Or, I can just say no it won't work because of the different size and makeup of the molecules involved... having thought about it a bit more for a second.

Couldn’t agree more with your points, but I do love a Bachmann 😄

That's brilliant. Now all we need is a Deltic with this system fitted
Very nice.
At first, I wasn't convinced with this smoke system but the more I see I like it.
Think you'll find, a class 25 had a Sulzer power unit, not an EE one. 😉
Hi Matt, I have just finished building a class 25 in 5” scale ( Maxitrak ) . Great video Matt👍
Nice video of the class 25 maybe a double header with these on a main line railtour would look fantastic
Brilliant matt, so realistic and one of my favourite class. 🙂

For the avoidance of doubt, sound file is from me
Do you know Matt that was fantastic, great filming to....
I would like to see the class 150 and 143 with the exhaust fumes.
Great Video Matt, I want one but I don't do dcc.
that is great are you going to get smoke in any off your diesels matt
There just needs to be some way to make the smoke darker, then it’d look just like a 25
I wonder If you put a drop of dark food colouring in the water, if you will get black clag?
@@kevvynolan8753 it would fall back down and stain everything.
