A couple seasons of development post draft would do him well. The power forward is the biggest “boom or bust” playing style to draft in my opinion. It is so tempting for GMs to take on a guy like this for the impact an elite power forward can have. But for every Blake Wheeler or Gabe Landeskog there are 20 Lawson Crouse’s. Another thing is the timetable on development seems to take longer than other play styles; often power forwards don’t realize there potential until there mid 20’s and they do it on a team other than the one that drafts them in some cases.
I’m curious how he’s going to be considering he doesn’t have a fancy stat line so far at TPS. If he is a power forward then it would suit some teams like ottawa or Montreal like a glove. But it is interesting breaking down a player who’s only 17 and will most likely keep growing as a player. I’ll keep a tab on him
@@Windyyyyyyyyy still 17 y.o. so he is still adapting to a mans hockey. Maybe he needed some confidence aswell. Can't wait to see his journey especially now after Olympics👀
He's fumbling the puck a lot, and for nothing, I'm questionning his eye-movement coordination, its a red flag to me and probably a clue that he wont project as a Draisaitl like a lot of people are seiing him. He will finish as an energy guy so too high to be taken in the top 20. If you look at highlights you will be impress, but at whole game you can see that. he certainly have a physical advantage even in the Liiga for the moment, but in the NHL this advantage will be diluted.
If there is any player from slovak 2022 draft class who will be a monster in nhl than its this guy. He just need to grown up mentally and develop some skills a little bit.
This as Mikko Rantanen written all over it. Puck control, Hockey IQ and size !

Yep and now he is a top scoring player in Olympics
@@keeeep0823 7 goals at the Olympics. Genuinely wonder why he couldn’t produce like that in TPS

I like all the one hand on the stick move, should have "The Fencer" as a nickname. lol
So many players do this a lot.... I've done it a lot and I played fkn house league lol.
Love the player but too slow for Montreal even if he might be the player to pick depending..
Every big guy seems slower than they actually are
I see Kristian Vesalainen
Very good comparison, even if Vesalainen had a better puck control at the time.
Boom or bust. His size will get him selected in the top 5 for sure
Personally i would avoid him too risky

Chill he's only 17.... And already better than some 4th line players in NHL
How good were you at 17? Just calm tf down and let him improve and after few years lets see who is right
I'm skeptical too. I hope he turns out great, Slovakian hockey needs all the help they can get.

I recommend watch games from mens world championship this year especially game vs sweden.
