Lovely to see all these people enjoying themselves. Lovely to see Nathan again. This is what is all about. Getting out there and exploring . A unique video . Such good energy. I can't wait to bag some tors at the end of September. I am praying for sunshine .
Great walk and video, had an amazing day and was the perfect introduction to Dartmoor for me. I still can't believe all the special effects you must put into your other videos to make the weather look so miserable, Hollywood must be so jealous.
Looks like you had a cracking day Trev. I am out tomorrow walking/camping in this area tomorrow so hope that the weather is kind. See you in the hillls ! I
Great day hiking... Good comfortable place... Well organised with a bit of 'Lost' included and a bit of 'Off the cuff' Thanks to Summit or Nothing for a good day out with a load of giggles 10/10 😎👍
Good old Nath for bringing the good weather with him, belter of a day. Good to see you losing the track and giving them all a tour of the Adder Fields lol. Loved the Summit or Nothing at the Tor Summit and interesting to see the 9 Maidens or 17 Brothers, only a small stone circle but they always fascinate me. Everyone seemed to have a brilliant day, real good to see and I would deem that an outstanding success. Cheers Alan
great video would have loved to have seen you all in the pub drinking your first pint after the walk. .. maybe video it the next time :), Love your videos, I must watch about 5 hours worth each week and am nearly running out of your video's to watch.
The pub was heaving, and we were just weeks out of lockdown and all voted against it! One day, though! Thanks for binge watching our vids - hopefully lots more original content before too long!
Just finding your channel after researching Naturehike gear, but your hikes and the scenery are fantastic. Makes me want to visit from Canada for a week of camping and hiking (and getting lost)
Thank you very much - glad that you found us - naturehike do some good gear, I must say I have been impressed so far. Thank you for watching and please subscribe to keep up to date with our adventures.
Nice walk, good 'voos', great company! All the ingredients for a cracking day. I'm always driving home after a hike so my reward is a cold cider at home. Tastes so good for having earned it! 🥾
It was good to see people experiencing Dartmoor for the first time and that they had a great time. I bet you could charge people to go walking with you I bet 👍
Haha... Yea I could bit it's all the hastle with insurances and such like plus I would have to get some navigation qualifications too...not written off the idea though.
I'm doing pretty much the same route later this week with a 1 night wild camp down by Lints Tor on the way back. Hope the weather is as nice, looked a good day.
Summit Or Nothing I like that you take a random, drawn from a hat, selection of patrons out for a walk. Will that be a regular thing? Not that I can do that in the foreseeable future, pretty housebound with health issues atm, but it’s nice to see.
@@hArtyTruffle I'm hoping to, will see what is happening with the old covid over the coming weeks / months but yea I hope to do four or five of these a year.
You cheeky bastard, didn't realise you were filming when I put my foot through the floor hahahah Great video, great company and what a way to spend 6 hours with 6 other men! haha Had a fantastic time Trev, well worth the sore legs the day after!
😂😂 Who knows when I'm filming lol. Glad that you enjoyed it, mate, was a lengthy one in the end - hope everyone else enjoyed themselves too. I know Nath and myself did! Thanks for coming!
You say whach out for snakes. Was walking up from the east ockment to nine stones with my family years ago I said whach out for adders my Gran step on a lump of granite 4 shot out from underneath! !
Nice one Trev & Nath...I slept on Steeperton the other month I had my dinner in the entrance to that hut... you had way better weather 😂🤣 hard slog up the sheep tracks. Jim D (on YT) filmed you from a Tor... check his vid. Lee
Great video, Trev, of some of decent tors there! That, though, isn't considered Tors End but is actually called 'Belstone Common Tor'. Tors End (some add 'tor' on the end for some reason) is actually accepted to be much further down the slope and is the tor seen at 15:16, so named because it is the termination of the long ridge of tors starting at Oke Tor. I can't believe you had such good weather with Nath around! ;-) ATB Max.
Haha... Cheers Max... We did saywhilst filming that tors end bit that Max will probably put us straight lol. Was a great day, mate and yea, good weather even with Nath joining us.... One of the Patreons must be really lucky 😂😂
You guys seem awesome . I’m only young 27 but I love nature . Always on my own my friends like to get drunk and drugs etc . . If any one here from Staffordshire/ West Midlands ever want to hike with some one I’d be up for it As long as your not a weirdo who’s gonna kidnap me lol I just need mew friends who love nature and life like me
You should join the hiking groups on facebook, like hiking britain etc, theres plenty of likeminded people on there who often search for company to get out. good luck!
@@SummitOrNothing thanks mate appreciate it , hope your well and safe .. I’m going to Shropshire hills Thursday , I am doing the carding mill valley and the long mynd circular for my first walk . Excited 🤟🤟
11:36 - I walked down Higher Tor along the right of 'Irishman's Wall' and I saw a gang of 6-ish lads that day - later worked out it was you guys! You're in my video near the end, from a distance lol hope you don't mind! ruclips.net/video/KJJ3WYrjSxM/видео.html We walked up Winter Tor from the lower track passing under it but it was all marsh & bog all the way up that side, you got a better angle! 13:56 - pretty sure that one you're pointing at *is* Belstone Tor! Next one downhill from it is Tor's End. The one you're on should be 'Higher' Higher Tor, if my navigation has worked it out right. The one with the little Swedish flag memorial on it was 'Lower Higher Tor' I believe.
My home ground love this walk, Was great to see two red kites round the back of oke tor & up at steeperton during the the summer. ps....Nath you big pussy it was only a small spider ;)
Lovely stuff! I think I spotted one in the distance on this day too. Was a minging looking spider, Nath really didnt like that attached to him for too long lol. Cheers for watching!
@@SummitOrNothing Enjoy your videos mate when they pop up in my notifications....Better to have a little spider than a addar attached lmao hopefully bump into you out on the moors one day keep up the awesome charity work you do & most of all your videos as they help people find our great locations.

Are you sure it was a spider, not a tick? Ticks have eight legs & are often mistaken for spiders.
