I came from a 3rd world country in the Middle East. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception.
Interesting observations. The problems you listed are certainly those of major cities, here and abroad I would argue as well. I would advise people to visit and make their own observations based on the bad and the good aspects of our society.
@@Jordcurious. Hello, my friend. unfortunately, the problems that I see are not just in big cities in Canada. we can see a lot of homelessness, awful roads, robbery, and nasty houses in every city. when you are traveling across the country you can see a lot of trash around the roads. inside the woods. on the beaches. I don't want to compare it to other developed or developing countries but I think in reality Canada is at end of the board. I am shocked when I see citizens don't any reaction to these problems. a few times I tried to help the country in my share. I took the trash from the streets, parks, beaches, and woods but people just look at me. no help, no joining me, nothing. it is horrible. I think in this country democracy has turned into chaos. everyone can do anything they like even anti-social activities like graffiti in the public and private places in cities or throwing out trash everywhere. the local or federal government doesn't have any reaction to this vandalism. but I will try because I immigrated for a better world.
@@rtcharge Unfortunately, these kinds of truths are so bitter. when I write these kinds of comments, nobody can say they are not true, they say to go back home because they cannot solve them. the truth is Canada is like a developing country, not a developed and in the garbage, and homelessness is worst.
Thanks for sharing. Have not been there yet.
