I am a domestic worker, I listen to Vusi most of the times and I feel empowered by what he says. I refuse to be poor. I’m disciplined when it comes to money, thank you Vusi for opening my eyes, my future is bright.
My mother was a domestic worker, she finished her higher certificate after she had me, went to college, and started an admin job. By then she had two girls, raising them on her own. She would later grow in her admin job and get her first degree in Industrial Psychology, and later an Honors Degree. She studied while she worked a full-time job and ran two businesses from home. By the age of 13, I was already helping at home in the family business, it is STILL alive till today, and she is now an entrepreneur for over 15 years. Where you are, is NOT where you will end up my love. You're loved, keep believing in yourself.
1. Other People’s Money (OPM) 2. The function of money is to buy time. Lower your burn rate. 3. Access to assets that generate cash. 4. Take professional financial advice 5. Do it for you, not the public.
Spot on with the whispering - I've often driven through the "upper class suburbs" and noticed that time and again there's just an everage Polo parked in the driveway. Nothing to prove. Once you've created wealth for yourself, taking this a step further, there's inter-generational wealth, which I think is even more important.
VT you have really grown in your craft. I can tell from your voice and demeanor and your level of calmness you are truly in your element. Thank you for sharing your ideas with the World and more so with us Africans who truly need to hear this message. May the Lord keep blessing your gift abundantly.
Hi Vusi and everyone listening. Ive been listening to you for a while and this is my first time to your podcast. Just adding some more value on no 2) The Function Of Money Is To But Time. So its the concept of the WHO not HOW. I learned this from an Entrepreneur name Russell Brunson where he explains that entrepreneur a lot of time make the mistake of trying to figure out everything on their own and since time plays a very important factor in the entrepreneurs life, most get frustrated in the process. Instead what smart entrepreneurs do is "maximize their time by leveraging the expertise of other people and as a result gives them a greater competitive edge in the market" he says. They use their money to hire more experts rather than figuring everything on their own. I hope someone found value in this
@@tem1465 not everything can be bought... Or bought with money. That's where your people skills come in, your network, how good you are when it comes to influencing people. You'll be surprised how much people actually get offended when money is all you want to offer/bring to the table or throw at them or the problems you want solved. People want to feel valued and feel like they worth more than just money even when they are working for it. They simply don't want to feel 'bought'. So put your charm to work, use your words, appeal to their self interest, and influence them. You'll definitely get what you want.
I am a dropped out of school 'cause of financial problems. And I am from Congo Brazzaville which is a country that gets economic problems. But with VT podcast I hope that I'll be built a good WEALTH.
Big respect Chief VT this is powerful very informative 👏 👌 🙌 Genesis 26:13 NIV The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.

Hopefully one day I'll meet you in person and testify to you and others how all your work since I started following you in 2013 has transformed my life 🙏🏽 I am still learning, un-learning and re-learning 🙏🏽
Mahalo for sharing! I had an AHA moment. “Buy time” my boss is buying time by having me do my job, he’s able to leverage my skills, talent and time. Shoot, I guess hiring people to work for you makes sense, kinda, now not all the time. However that’s one thing out of many I got from this. BUY TIME
How does one approach the rich and financial institutions with only an idea? Someone who is has never been in possession of money, meaning does not have previous financial records? I am here with great ideas but struggling to finance them. Sir Vusi, you are the best man to lead this generation to green pastures.
Thank you sir. this podcast is slowly but steadily changing my life. I look forward to shaking your hand one day and thanking you for the impact you have had in my life. No. 6 was awesome, I intend to accumulate wealth for me.
Vusi, I have been listening to you for a few years now. Its always refreshing to hear your voice, I am reminded of my value and worth EVERY single episode. I feel empowered to reach new heights and I feel the responsibility to share the messages to those who are constantly seeking advice from. I cant thank you enough for doing these podcasts, I wish you can do more and more. Sayonara
Really great tips. Some info are similar to the book, The Millionaire next Door by Thomas Stanley and William Danko. But I like the breakdown from Vusi. Relatable! ❤❤
The importance of sound financial advice. Financial advice asks you the questions you're to afraid to ask yourself, it challenges you to change habits, to get you to where you want to be... But people aren't ready for that conversation
I think this is one of the most underappreciated aspects of becoming wealthy, wealthy people become wealthy by creating wealth for other people. (Ties in to OPM).

I've listened and listened to this 2ce already within the few minutes it's been posted. Been pondering on wealth creation for a long time and this gives some much deep insight. So so much! Clarifies my confusion
My God! This podcast is something else. If you happen to read this Vusi, I'd be grateful if you could recommend some books you read/have read to draw this inspiration from. As a finance student, I believe I have a lot of unlearning to do when it comes to business/entrepreneurship
This is Elite Stuff. Thank you for sharing the wisdom. What stood out for me in this episode is the Question at the end of the Episode. Honestly, I can't even Buy Next month. I am challenged to change my Life.
No. 5 has just left me dizzy, because a few years ago i had an epiphany about this, but it still leaves me very internally conflicted ... wish we could talk more about it!
Thank you so much Vusi for another amazing podcast. 😃😃😃My biggest take away was that the wealthy understand OPM, something we usually shudder from but will be necessary in the pursuit, attainment and maintenance of wealth, however intimidating it may look.
Thank you for sharing my good Sir. Such insight goes a long way for those pursuing wealth, which is a journey I believe most of us should consciously start to embark on. But we get too caught up on doing things to please those around us and side line the idea of doing things for Us which of cause leads to loss of time and never reaching the end goal which got blurred over time. I for one really enjoyed and appreciate this pod. Thank you once again.
If you what to accumulate wealth you have to do it for yourself, this is well noted Vusi much love from Rwanda by the way I like your intro..."Hello Family😂😂"
The reason it looks like wealthy people drive slightly old models is not that they bought used cars. The queen's cars were new when acquired, probably even customized, but use it for long with great maintenance, even when newer models are released. New money seeks constant approval by buying the latest, the flashiest.
After listening to a few podcasts on wealth. The main question that i find a struggle with is how to identify assets that generate an income? How do i invest in them? How do i know that it will withstand a long period of time and end up in a positive? What assets would be considered income generating assets? Where do i start or recognise an opportunity or an asset
Daiyaan, Im a forex trader of 4 years. Dont worry I dont sell any courses or anything I just trade for myself but I just wanted to give you context as someone whos been actively investing. The answer to that question is extremely difficult. Id advice for you to contact wealth managers just to get you started but ultimately its to first invest in knowledge. I have no recommendation though.
