This is true, sometimes the best melodies I come up with are not written at the piano during my work hours, but just in my head when I take a step back and do something else 🙂

Spending time in silence is a great way to be in the present and adapt to opportunities! Great share Zach!

2/3rds of my life is creative, graphic design business and music performance and composition/recording. I make money as a graphic designer, I am creative for someone else and will read them and attempt to give them what they want, and more. Then a break from pleasing clients to my own music where I only please myself. The other 1/3rd of life is out in my local wilderness, fitness, nature, challenging the body, what I term "active meditation". What time left in the 24 hours is for recovery. It is a good balance I suppose.
The music world has been tough for making money or even getting audiences for concerts and watching a video. Not like in the 19th and 20th century when the only way people heard music was to play it themselves or the rare treat when a musician came to town. Now music and musicians are everywhere, and music is in every audio/video media there is from commercials to movies, radio, YT, to actually paying for music, live or recorded. All these little YT musicians attempting to please an audience bigger than a few hundred views struggle for validation. I've been a musician for 57 years now, I have a small audience in my town, and even smaller on YT, but it is not about the numbers, it is about the one. The one person you may connect with in the audience or watching your video.
You may comfort, tranquilize, excite, encourage, or heal someone today. I know this number for me is more than one, but even if only one, that is enough. So, don't keep your art to yourself if you are passionate about your creation, allow others to hear. Give someone this week a vacation from the struggle of life.

Thank you Zach. That was a very good video. We are so addicted to the hyper stimulation that we forget the joy of simple things. We simply need to get back to what wise religions and philosophies were teaching people for the tousands of years (and it's proven to work). Happy New Year and keep making this awesome content!

You are right! Planning is important, but only God knows what will actually happen. I wish you in the new year to completely get rid of burnout and continue doing what you are very good at - music.

Love the video! I'm a student, still passionate about making music, and improving a lot in what I'm making, however I want to grow as well. Do you have any suggestions for this situation? I'm not in an extreme rush, but I'd like to be able to get my music out there and work towards a fulfilling career. Should I even by trying to grow a business at this point?
Thanks so much for your videos! I love watching your channel.

Sounds like you're already on the path with your natural improvement! Keep following your natural points of interest - the things you're hungry to learn more about - and you'll continue growing 🙂
