Work in Switzerland for the Federal Government in financial supervision and controlling. Internal Auditing qualification was necessarily for this position so an internal auditing qualification won't harm you regardless on where you might see yourself someday. My job titel is called Audit expert. Salary is great too. Make 140k.

Well it looks like Internal auditors should have every possible skill. So what about pay and progress up the ladder.
The pay is not that outstanding or the progress up the ladder is not there, until you change jobs.
