Awesome content, Toney! Just wondering if you’ve ever used your watch boxes for any other purpose? Currently I’m using my Rolex to hold my tv controller and am enjoying that a lot.
Hi Tony, just found you on RUclips and really dig your videos! 2 piece Rolex and Breitling owner here from Australia. I have recently cashed in on an investment and have some money for toys - a rare occurrence! I don’t know whether to buy an IWC Mark XX, the current Breitling Navitimer 41mm and a Rolex Datejust 36mm silver dial with jubilee. I mean purchasing all 3 watches together .. or .. go hard on a Rolex GMT Rootbeer. I have wanted all 4 watches for years.. to be honest I would LOVE to turn my 2 piece collection into 5 and I only imagined wearing the Rootbeer in my retirement years. But it’s temping knowing that I could obtain the Rootbeer now. What do you think? I am a professional musician, these days just doing the bar entertainer thing.. my claim to fame was being Angry Anderson’s guitar player for a while .. he fronted “Rose Tattoo”. It was great fun, Marshall JMP’s opened right up, multiple quadboxes and playing open E slide at ear shattering volume. I had to transition to acoustic guitar / man in the corner work these days because.. bad “rock and roll” habits. Watches are my addiction these days. I really love your videos and wish you all the happiness in the world, from a fellow watch / guitar buddy.. Mick 🎸
Hey man, thanks! I loved Rose Tattoo back in the day. I had all the singles “Scarred for Life” etc. That’s really cool man. I’ll add this to my Q&A. 🎸🎸
I can totally relate to Chris Inman’s question ! Awesome video :). The movement in that discontinued Cartier Diver is an in-house movement with a 48 hour power reserve. It’s the 1904 MC. What a beautiful diver!!!
Happy weekend my buddy! The Zenith event looked like so much fun! (You clean up nice!). Question: how/where do you store your extra straps for watches? Thanks Tony, you’re the best.
In regards to a better finished watch than a Rolex yet below PP or AP prices, IMO my Fifty Fathoms is a much better finished watch than my Sea-Dweller 43. Another excellent Q&A Tony. Thanks brother.
Tony has so many grail watches it’s not funny and you can tell he loves them all…. He sees it, he likes it and he then buys it….! Love it Tony… Cool show as usual… Greg P. S. I love Hamilton I have 3… Amazing watches… Undervalued…. And yes, agree TG, Bat Girl all day long…💯👍 Love watching your show…!
"Would I Sell All of My Watches for One Grail?". Simply no. Brother man. These Q&A vids are getting longer and longer. What will you do when your subs hit 100K? Haha. Good perspectives as always.
Thanks man! If my channel got anywhere near that big I would just have to be more selective on the questions I choose to answer. Yeah, some of these vids are a bit long. 😂😂🤙🤙
Hey Tony! Awesome vid. I am a max 6 watch guy. What would you add to my current collection? Panda 116500 Batgirl Cartier tank Louis 18k rosegold Casio F-91 Thinking of a BB58 maybe or a Omega NTTD 🧐 Thankx for the great content.
Hey Tony. Knowing the Daytona Panda is virtually impossible from the AD, which would you choose and why? Each has its pros and cons, but I am curious as to your opinion. Omega Speedy Sapphire Sandwich Zenith Chrono Sport Tudor Black Bay Chrono Thanks
Hey Tony! Been following you for a few years, but haven't commented in a while. Where does a Day Date rate on your radar? For me a YGDD is my grail. I'm like you, in the fact I always dress casually. So my question is, would you consider ever going after a DD, and if so which metal would you prefer, and what would be your dial preference? Always enjoy your laid back approach and viewer/fan appreciation.
Tony, for the guy who asked about the Cartier diver. I’ve nearly purchased that watch 3 times. It’s a lovely piece. I believe it’s a Cartier in house movement 1904 PS-MC
Great topics today, Tony, as usual. I really appreciate your perspective on being down the rabbit hole - it makes me feel much better about being there myself! Have a great week!
Hamilton…. Lancaster Pennsylvania….I grew up there and when visiting from LA I always hunt estate sales and antique marts in the small towns for ww2 era models
Question: Tony, I know you have called your watch collecting a “disease” that a lot of us viewers share with you. I love that you are always open and honest with no BS. With that said do you have a monetary limit on your collection? I set mine at 50k and if I’m approaching that limit I usually force myself to sell off pieces. Just so I don’t get out of control. Wondering if you do something like this too?
Thanks for another great and informative video! I always mark the start of the weekend with watching the q&a lol. I have a quick question, partially brought on by the Hamilton Pennsylvania comment you made. Have you heard of RGM or Marathon watches? I have a Marathon GSAR, it’s a pretty durable purpose-built watch like the Hamilton, and I like the tritium gas filled tubes; it’s a different look at night. Not quite as bright as lume, but it’s constant and doesn’t fade or need to be charged (well, discarding the whole multi-year half life of tritium anyways…) RGM watches are custom-made in Pennsylvania, their higher end models are pretty bespoke and pricey from what I can tell, but they do look pretty nice. I hardly ever hear about the brand though, so I just thought I would ask. Have a nice weekend!
Grail is probably too strong a term but it's the one we use. I think if you do have a Grail you need to be actually trying to purchase it IMO. Batman was a Grail for me, it's far from perfect...... but I love it and love I managed to snag one due to the Grail status that I gave it. VC Overseas three hand blue was the only other Grail, but not actually sure I want one now so its been DeGrailed!
Hey Tony. Thank you for another great video, my comment for the night is: what do you think of the tag heuer chrono glassbox with the retro 38mm black dial, I recently purchased it from my AD and absolutely love it! I would love it if you can review it sometime.. thank you for all the time and effort you put in your channel. Cheers to Paco! The feline champ 😺
Hi Tony hope all is well with you. I enjoy your videos as always and def love your collection. You had mentioned a comment on a comment that you buy whatever pieces to get a certain time piece. Those that say that clearly don’t get the love for watches and healthy addiction lol. I at times wake up and want to wear an invicta that I bought back in college when a Rolex, Breitling, or Panerai (which I own now) were a far fetched dream. My point is it’s the love for watches that make us buy a timepiece and not chasing a grail piece. The enjoyment we get wearing a timepiece even when sitting on a couch watching our favorite show, or wearing a timepiece to an event while its hidden under a shirt sleeve (hence not caring who knows what we wear) but enjoying it for what it is. Sorry for the rant but keep at it and love your videos. I see, hear and feel the passion for the watches and it’s awesome!!
Happy Friday Tony! I would have a hard time as well selling watches to get a grail piece. Maybe im too new to the game I only have 2 pieces and am trying to build my collection; I can't see myself selling one of my watches; curious to hear from some of the watch friends if thats the case if you have like 5 or less watches. Also big shout out to the watch friend who wished us all good health while enjoying our watches. Right back at you man! I always have videos on my youtube feed that pop up "finally got my call from the AD" and they do a review I am always happy for them and wish them good health; as a community of enthusiasts we should celebrate when others get their watch that they have been patiently waiting for.
It's boring/cheesy, but at list, Rolex is the best IMO/IME (without going into High Horology as the viewer said). People should just accept this rather than looking for a way around it that does not exist. 1000% enjoy other watches instead of or alongside for sure though.
Awesome content, Toney! Just wondering if you’ve ever used your watch boxes for any other purpose? Currently I’m using my Rolex to hold my tv controller and am enjoying that a lot.
Thanks man. I haven’t. Sounds interesting. Glad that works for you. 🤙🤙
Interest topics today Tony. Thanks man.
Thank you.

Right off the bat. Would you consider the Zenith ‘Daytona’? Not the Rolex one, but the one that Zenith is making now. And if what colour?
I’ll add to the next Q&A.
Great topics today, Tony, as usual. I really appreciate your perspective on being down the rabbit hole - it makes me feel much better about being there myself! Have a great week!

Finks gives discounts just not on Rolex or Tudor. Not big thow 5-10 percent.
Hmm, 🤔 maybe they started that recently then. Either way, any discount is nice.

Hey Tony, new to your channel. Would like to hear thoughts on watches for guys with a larger
( 7 3/4”) wrist.
Cool. I can add this to the Q&A.
Hi Tony love your show what is your honest opinion between old and new submariner ?
Thank you. I’ll add to the Q&A.
What about the Daytona, did you Bond with it and also wear it (occasionaly)?
It’s in the bank. It’s not legible. I don’t wear it unfortunately because I am unable to tell the time on it without my reading glasses.
Hey Tony,
What’s the name of that piece you play with your Spanish guitar in the intro?
It’s called “love Gone”.
Sell them all for the turmp gold bling grail watch
That is a great idea!! 😂😂😂
Very interesting again! Greetings from London 💫
Thank you.
Tony once killed two stones with one bird.
😂😂🤙🤙. Too funny man.
Tell us about the Zenith event.
I will do a video on it.
You are more fan of Sub Master 😂
I know right??? 😂😂😂😂😩😩
Great video, Tony
