      Just watched some of your vids mate really enjoyed, some good spots up near you! I actually come up your end for work quite a lot, might have to show me some good spots to fish 👍
      All the best

    Hi, to Yorkshire, nice videos you guys have. I've been fishing with the center pin for about a year now. You have inspired me a lot. There are not as many places in the Czech Republic as in Yorkshire. But I have to try. The tray you made is beautiful, you gave me an impulse. I'll do it too, an original for myself.

      Hello to the Czech Republic! Thanks so much for the nice comments about our videos, would love to try some fishing in Czech sometime 😊 All the best, Niall

    Well young fella, you're a bit of a dark horse! Excellent net, so good to see young folks excelling at DIY.
    BTW you could get away with a couple of cramps, by screwing small blocks of wood around the perimeter, tight against the bent strips, each one in turn replacing a cramp. Might do one of these myself.
    Maybe the craftsmanship of my pipe phone spike exceeds this one though 🤣! (For which I don't recall getting a comment from Albion angling, not that I'm the least bit miffed about that !)
    Long live angling DIY! ☺️👍👍👍

      Hahah dark horse I'll take that mate! Thanks though do apreciate that, especially knowing you're a half decent joiner yourself 😉
      That would be really cool to see you do a net as well, think the next one I'll do is gonna be a similar style but with a longer handle, maybe a couple of feet. And yeah you're right if I make some matching wood blocks for the net form I could save a lot on clamps! Would probably also give a more even clamping pressure around the outside of the net.
      All the best mate

    This is such a great video. Informative, inspiring and funny - a real joy to watch. Really interesting to see each stage of the process and the steps involved. And what a beautiful end product, I would be beaming with pride if I had made something like that. Bravo.

      Thanks so much mate very kind words, really glad you enjoyed it! Was nice filming/editing a video where I didn't have to rely on catching a fish haha. One of the next vids I want to do will cover my pond build, hopefully will be able to do a similar style video to this 😊

    Very nice, but by the time I'd bought all those clamps and tools I think I'd be cheaper to have one made. I'm also not very good with wood. Metal or plastic I can cope with.

    • @albionangling
      @albionangling  Год назад +1

      Yeah that's the annoying part, must have spent £50 on clamps alone! Now I've got all the gear it probably only costs me about £30 in wood per net, but does still take me ages to make one hah! Thanks for your continued support mate,
      Cheers
