This is a very important message. Thanks for sharing it Stacie. If this is you, I just want you to know how much you are loved. I grew up with Degrassi and love and respect you to this day. You are an amazing person!
I was taken aback when I saw this at first, and listening to your words I saw a great amount of courage from you to speak about this publicly. I have also struggled with this for a terrible number of years and after talking to people about it, I found solace with writing poetry to sort out the things in that dark place and express those pent up feelings. One person said "it's like standing around and watching yourself sink in different versions of affection" and that is really what it feels like. "Embarrassing"..."Isolating"...yeah, exactly. I'm so sorry about your brother and death is hard to cope with. I also have a sibling with this as well and no one wants to lose those most precious to them and we have to believe that we're precious too. Although I have given up a few times along the way, there really are reasons to keep fighting and I appreciate when people like you say with complete sincerity that it's okay not to be okay and the "you" your looking for is worth finding. I hope that you will become the complete person you desire to be. Thanks for sharing this Stacie
@@strongerwithstacie I can relate, I have autism and it comes with a lot of anxiety. I lost my brother in 2016 and I just felt like I didn’t want to talk to anyone. Your on my top five favorite actresses. I would pay anything if I had to money to talk to you in person cause that would mean alot to someone that has a disability like me
Thank you for sharing. ❤
You're absolutely right. No shame in asking for help.
Agreed!
Some people think that when you're asking for help, you're weak, but you're not !
Exactly. It's hard for a lot of people to ask for help but it's a sign of strength and self-respect.
Much respect.
Thank you
Whether it’s a giant leap or small steps…glad that you’re able to move forward.
Thank you 🙂

Wow, thank you for your thoughtful, compassionate words. I'm glad you've found something that comforts you. Poetry helps me too.

Such a great actress! ❤️
Thank you. Just know that I'm not acting when I talk about mental health ; )
