- I was at the Manchester, NH DMV office conducting a 1st Amendment Audit.The doors were locked and set appointments only were allowed in a public building. I challenged this policy of theres and went in anyway. As I entered the DMV while door was swung open I was approached by JERRY in seconds, he was very hostile and aggressive in my face yelling for me to get out. SHYLA the supervisor came in and Deescalated the situation right away telling JERRY to go away. Jerry was very upset and stated that I was there to Harass people while conducting my business. He was also starting to cause a disturbance with the citizens in the DMV stating I was there to harass people. A complaint was filed on Jerry for his actions towards me and was sent to Concord DMV for evaluation.

Shyla was definitely one of the most professional supervisors of a public entity I've seen in most of the videos I've watched. Jerry doesn't necessarily need to be fired but he definitely needs to be trained on citizens rights an de-escalation. Great video.

She really was I talked to her a little bit about the situation after and I asked her if she knew why I was there and she said yes she's been trained very well

This would be good training audit. The lady employee was professional in that she used her discretion wisely even though she was trying to enforce ‘the rules.’ Sometimes it’s better to just let it go than to cause a scene. She passed the audit and was tougher on Jerry than with you.

So today I went to one of the NH DMV's (not Manchester). I can tell y'all that in 2022 it does not look anything like what this video portrayed. There was no "Jerry" or anyone, for that matter, there to greet me. There was no mask requirement. Appointments were advised, but not necessary. People werer sitting in front of me, but since I had an appointment, I got preference (the guy in front of me was pissed). It was more of a free for all than what the structured video you're seeing portrays.
Oh, don't get me wrong, this video is great, but I'm just wanting to inform any of you that might need to get to a DMV in NH these days that the standards are much more relaxed. They didn't even do temp checks or any kind of questionaire to see if we have COVID, etc. There was no occupancy limit.
However any of you might feel about this is your choice. I'm just pointing out how much has changed since this video was made.
I would ask these SOB's Where's the paperwork that says they have to limit the amount of people in the building

You came a long way I love seeing the growth.
Not sure if you did or not but you should always take a picture of the completed complaint form prior to handing it over, this way you have a copy that you filled one out in the event they ever say " we didn't receive it " BS that they sometimes say. Another note on that, also try to make sure that they see you taking the picture of the completed form so they will think twice in the event they are thinking about destroying the form when you exit the building ( they sometimes never hand it in to be processed through the proper channels )

I have commented on your videos before. I like your style and your demeanor. You're nice when they are, and give them a ration of shit when they need it and deserve it. I wonder what mindset it takes for a security guard, not a cop, to think he has any right or reason to put hands on for someone who is not causing a disturbance, making threats or exhibiting physical violence or doing anything but using a camera in a public building. As long as your presence didn't prevent them from letting someone else in you were fine. She could have said "I'll let you know if we reach capacity and need you to leave so we can serve another customer." That way your rights are not violated and you are not obstruction government business. Jerry needs to find a quiet place to kick rocks.

Filling a position for someone to work with the PUBLIC you should at least know how to be professional and kind. Why have someone like Jerry there to bully and harass people. His boss had to step between them to stop Jerry from attacking this member of the public.

The DMV are the worst. They have some of the most officious, rudest, robotic staff I have ever come across. They seem to take pleasure in telling you they cannot help or assist you.
