Do you use a standard Austin 7 oil pump overbored with these pressurised cranks? Or do you use a different type of oil pump? What sort of pressures do they run at? Thanks.
A non pressurized crank is good for 5000rpm+- with standard rods or a bit more , in my experience a pressurized crank is often more trouble than its worth forget Renault rods too much trouble. The secret of winning a highplace in the A7 world is reliability and finishing that gets you the points to win a championship! Engine runs with 15 to 20lbs (overbored oil pump) splash fed and full flow filter.Enjoy !
@@marmac567 Agreed. A four cylinder engine needs at least three main bearings. I can't imagine the flexing of the crank at even modest loads and speeds.
