    The old felt seals are ok but before fitting new ones soak them in tallow then squeeze them and fit

    Bei neuen Belägen und alten Trommeln reicht es auch aus, wenn man die Kanten an den Belägen bricht. Dadurch liegen die Beläge auch sofort besser an.

    Hi Jonny. When refitting the nut on the rear axle half shaft, it is vital that it be done up really tight. The reason for this is that it should be the taper which transmits the driving force and not the key/keyway. The nut needs to be tightened to at least 125 ft lbs torque.

    Ever thought of using the hubs from a later car? You’d have a wider choice of wheels and disc brakes.
