It's a very strong coin effect, I perform this in every show it's that good! Though it took me close to 6 months to master it, after practicing every day. Try learn to do it from both hands. It'll usually take less time in your second hand as you'll get a better understanding the positioning you learned in the first hand. Good luck learning it, keep at it, girls love this!
I thought it was impossible for me, saying to myself that my hands were not made for it, or that I had not the right size of coin... But I trained for 2 days, and finally made it do a little jump out of my hand. I will keep on training! Thank you. :)
@@Himselfpossibly @N8ExtrAwesome Hey guys. I only trained a few weeks, and could do some 20-30 cm jumps afterwards. I didn't continue training magic these last years, I was more focused on music, sports and juggling. But I can still make it jump around 20 cm with my left hand, and a bit less with my right (don't know why, and I'm right handed) I'm might start coin magic again! Good luck to you guys!
I did the French drop and surprised myself, after doing the trick wrong I somehow made it disappear. I didn't even know where the coin went, at the time. Not on the ground, not in my hands. It was in my sleeve!
Very interesting to stumble across this gem in my "random coin manipulations" search on YT just now. I have recently been messing with a similar pass using the skin from my index and ring fingers. I am able to make a couple different sized plastic coins jump horizontally, but not up, save for a simple flip of the coin on my flat palm. Sometimes I can make the coin go up a bit like a shallow coin flip, 1-3 flips. I am a juggler since 1976. I consider these coin moves to be mini-juggling moves. It's all sleight of hand to me.
hey thanks for the tutorial but when I practice it my coin just flip but while fliping it's touches my palm means I am not able to do it please advice me what to do??
Try it with a different size coin and just keep practicing! It also took me a while to get it, something like 3 months 4 hours a day every day. DONT GIVE UP
Is 29mm too small? It is the only light, thin and biggest one that i have because i have another one which is a 37mm diameter coin but it's quite thick and heavy and i'm not sure if it is because it's too heavy, that's why it doesn't jump. What diameter do you think is the best to use for practice? Is a poker chip easier and better than other coins to practice?
No, it's possible, but it makes it harder to learn the move! 37mm would be better to learn with, because you will also train you strength in your hand muscles :) poker chip is the easiest option!
i can sometimes make it go really high when i aply pressure with my other hand too but sometimes nothing happens and i am getting frostrated cause its getting ridiculous
I remember doing this day in and day out with poker chips about 15 years ago with Bobo's book in my lap. Oh those days. RUclips has made life so much easier.
My hand hurts Im basically just squeking my hand and the coin doesnt do anything Edit:maybe my coin is too small... Edit 2 : nevermind i just did it, it took me 5 minutes....

Yow, ik heb een vraagje. Als de munt wegschiet, moet die dan wegschieten vanaf de duim of vanaf de palm? Ik probeer het echt al 2 maanden maar het lukt steeds niet
*Figuring out where on your hand to squeeze the coin is also in my experience pretty important* I got it to jump on accident and tried to replicate it and now I can do it semi consistently "Also my hand hurts"
Yes, it's important to know which area on your hand works best for you to place the coin! :) It's normal to hurt in the beginning, but this will go away after practicing mutiple weeks/months
Really good stuff my dude! You've got the pass down. I use to be able to do it sometimes, but just stopped it and Magic altogether for a long time so the skills are worn down, but I can always practice and get back at it. I used to know this one kid growing up in Queens named Ralphie (RQ) that was able to Muscle Pass a dime....yes a dime! This kid was really good at magic period. Had some of the most raw talent I'd ever seen. Wonder what happened to him. Anyways keep doing your thing brother. Thanks for the tutorial.
It is really irritating to try this trick at first because the coin does'nt jump. But when I tried to put my left hand below my right hand and helps it to squeeze, the coin jumps off. I guess in order to do this trick, you need to squeeze the coin very very tightly
When I squeeze my hand using my other hand the coin goes like 3 feet in the air, but I can't get that kind of pressure without squeezing with my other hand, any advice?
i love tricks like this, even if you know how its done, it's still amazing! if anything it makes it more impressive , i hope to learn it but damn its tough.
Your coin will start going higher every week if you practise it every day! That's how you know if you make progression... just record yourself every week. Good luck!
So TricksandBeats, is an Australian 20 cent piece roughly the same size as an American silver dollar/or half dollar? I have learned two coin tricks in the past. First the obvious coin flip, second the coin knuckle roll, now I am learning this. Admittedly I learned OF the muscle pass from Connor off Detroit become human, however now I’m intrigued about how many of his coin trick are possible IRL. Especially as I’ve heard of a guy IRL who can balance a spinning coin on his finger.
Surprisingly, I found that It's not too hard to research. Apparently a 20 cent is 28 millimeters in diameter. 2 mills larger than a silver dollar, and 2 mills smaller than a half dollar. Though I may try a larger coin due to having fatter hands. As you say "just try it out".
Decided to make one of these to track my progress, cuz y not! Day 1: The coin just flipped as showed, and my hand was red. I kept practicing and it kinda flipped more Day2: it finally started to jump out of n]my mind, but long distances but I can let it leap out of my hand, I’m trying to get a little leap out of my other hand as well so I can pass back and forth like Connor! I get some good jumps, but sometimes it takes me a couple tries, but I see progression! Day3:???
guys you really have to mess around with the placement. i would recommend a half dollar coin and then just keep practicing, it took a while before i was able to do even a little jump
I've been doing it for 20 minutes and I just can't do it I think my hand has too much skin so it just wraps around the coin all it does is flop to the other side my hand is red and hot
@@Tricksandbeats my mother did it on her second try she popped the coin like 7 inches. I have been trying for over an hour today and same Thing the coin only flops the other side no even popping 1 mm
