I love how simple and quiet the video is, then he does some donuts in the snow. Shows some life. Awesome
I cheered when you brought out the heater. So many people sleep in the heat or the cold to avoid "glamping" honestly that's what makes it fun. Being able to be comfortable just about anywhere after making the effort to do so. A good night's sleep is essentially for a day of hiking, fishing or more fun.
Also feels like I'm with you camping along! That's some good solid fun.

A better tent, a good mat and a real down sleepingbag will keep you comfy without all the silly widgets
I go 5-7 days in the mountains without roads, why go to see parking lots?

Watched from start to finish and I have to say the videography and production was wonderful. No unnecessary soundtrack and the song at the end was a nice touch. I'll always have a soft spot for the Defender, having driven many 90's and 110's during my time in the British armed forces. Fantastic video, love from 🇬🇧

Kinda funny you wished you bought the 110. I've seen a few British campers made from Land Rovers and they were all 90s! The roof is hinged and swings to the side, popping up the tent at the same time. Then, they slide in a floor that covers half of the opening and use that to set the sleeping bag on.
I drove a 90 in italy .it's a 7 passenger vehicle

Lot of gears and much work to set up for one night camping but I think this is a way to escape from stressful life.
You don't escape stressful life with this kind of set up... You simply change kind of stress... Not mentioning the waste of energy... Typical "colonialist" way of life. We think of ourselves as the masters of everything surround us

이 형님은 차부터 젓가락까지 진짜 아이템 하나하나가 다 간지 철철임..
난개인적으로 야외캠핑하러가는데 좀 부족한 맛이 있어야지 눈오는 캠핑하다 밖에서 자는데 더워서 옷 벗고 잘 정도로 이렇게 하나부터열까지 너무 챙겨서 짐 가방무게만 14키로 그외 다른거 포함하면 3,40키로 될거같은데 이런 차박은 좀 원래의 캠핑취지에서 벗어난거같아서 취향은아님.

I think all the negative comments are people who are jealous and envious. Here is a guy with the means to do exactly what he enjoys, and if what he enjoys is to have a Bruce Wayne warehouse full of off-road vehicles and camping gear, and take all different things out as the mood takes him to go camping on weekends, then more power to him... : )

@@MrCalldean already started bro. My 2 children started off heavy in sports & out door events...one is heading into a job which came about from doing these out door activities, the other still at competitive level but it has had some worthy costs to it. I sure hope they remember the effort😕
Feel this video was more about promoting all the products shown ...apart from the landrover series 90 defender which is no longer in production....and you also seem to have more expensive gadgets than most family homes.

It's a very deep setup. To me, that would take up too much time. I wouldn't take that much stuff unless camping for one day and night. For quick stopover camping, this wouldn't work for me. I'd have to leave half the stuff behind.

Man I love love land rovers, especially the older series 2 and 3s and of-course the defender all short wheel base ones. Truly your diesel heater is Sci-Fi like. Something like this you would see in an anime! simply amazing, it has mechanical/electrical and chemical components to it.

I'm having a hard time deciding if this is really a camping video or just an extended unboxing video. I've never seen so much pristine equipment in my life. None of it looks like it's ever been used before. My stuff all has many miles and nights on it and even though I tend to care for my equipment because some day it might keep me alive. There's lots of interesting stuff here and it's a great place to fine new and interesting things but it all looks brand new!

It's a video made purely for views, not to tell a story or share information. The robotic title and theme is ubiquitous across RUclips, it's a kind of fast-food fantasy lifestyle porn "Cozy Rustic Writer's Cabin in the Norwegian Winter by a Warm Fire with Hot Cocoa" etc. Add a sexy thumbnail and some good production value and millions of views are yours. At least it's not traditional clickbait but "clickiness" is definitely the goal. Compare this to @MartijnDoolaard who does this type of aesthetic/lifestyle content but with an actual human face, telling a story and showing progress over time. Though popular his vids average around 500k views over months.

Organizational skills is off the charts! The gear is very impressive as well but it seemed like the entire video was spent setting everything up...and that of course is minus the parts that was edited out. I'm not sure I would do it on a vehicle with an already high center gravity but a roof top tent would speed things up a lot. That or maybe a pop up tent. Either way, its still a cool video.
