Then early this century we found out that this was an incredible time, unequalled anywhere! One Sat. Night we saw Uncanny Men, Painters & Dockers, and then Prince (yes, the purple one), playing an aprés gig at the place across the road from Luna Park. No hits, just 2 hours of the best improvising & guitar playing I've ever heard. We were so lucky!
