West Coast Customs Academy transform an old mini-truck into a Show Truck!

- The West Coast Customs Academy is a non-profit school that is teaching people the art of car customization from start to finish. The class of 2023 had a huge task - take an old mini-truck, owned by Ryan's best friend, the late great Alex "Who" Anderson, and and turn it into the show truck Alex always wanted. And the best part is, once the students finished this work of art, they got to surprise Alex's daughter with it.

This is so sick, I’m 23 and have built and continue building minitrucks that I record, seeing WCC digging in their roots and having other young people build a minitruck is awesome. RIP ALEX
Knowing Alex since early 1990’s & his passion between his club & vehicles & even employer-WCC especially, as tragic as the loss of Alex, this was a great thing to see come together for Alex & his family. All the hard work by Ryan, WCC crew & the up & coming talent from the WCCA. Everyone involved be proud & finally Alex has it done. Great video of this process being done.
they had the best teachers to teach them what they needed to learn... hopefully Ryan can hire a few of them for his place....

One of the best "build" videos on RUclips. The technical points gravitate towards the development of passionate people wanting to carry on the art and culture of automobiles instead of the technicalities of a specific vehicle. More businesses should do this. This is GREAT for the development of society. TBH, congress and the senate should promote this type of youth development throughout the country with HUGE incentives to the businesses and students. RIP Alex.

What’s crazy is we use to build cars in my driveway when I was a kid. We would do everything but paint like lowering wheels and tires, sound and everything in between. I’m putting down kids these days but they weren’t motivated like we were growing up, we also didn’t have the internet and social media.

I am a seventeen year old i live in prince edward canada a very small island of only around 100k people i have done body work and overall mechanics most my life i just wish there was a possible way for me to take part in something like this.
