- My first visit to Scotland and what a place! We totally lucked out with the weather and enjoyed day after day of warm beautiful sunshine. I had heard and seen how beautiful the Scottish landscapes are but I was blown away seeing it with my own eyes. This video shows only a tiny glimpse of what the place has to offer, if you haven't been, get planning you trip to Scotland now!
This was mainly filmed around Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park area and features Ben Arthur (The Cobbler), Ben Ime, Loch Lomond, Loch Long, Luss, Inverary, Loch Fyne and many more.
Filmed on the DJI Phantom 3 professional drone in 4K.

Thanks, it was cut with Adobe Premiere and graded with lumetri color panel.

Absolutely stunning Jonathan, beautiful footage. Did you use any ND filters to capture this? if so which grades would you recommend as "must have" as I currently only have ND8
Thanks Dean, most of this was shot actually without NDs believe it or not. I will often use my shutter speed to balance exposure and some of the bright scenes were shot with quite high shutter speeds. It also depends where you are located, the midday sun in the tropics will require much stronger NDs than say winter sun in the UK. If you can afford it get a set of three ND4,8,16 that way you are covered for almost all eventualities.
Thanks for the advice Jonathan J Scott Films, I always shoot fully manual for video with my DSLR so will have a play with the P4. just watched your drone setup video too and I wasn't happy with the d-Log settings either so will switch to Normal and see how I go.
