Wow those lights are awesome, you did bring the downsides of it and ik u for philips hue so i dont doubt they will sort of take your ideas and bring them out
I have the Hue Festivia lights and got me thinking if there’s a 3rd party app that can pimp the lights up a bit more in terms of features. I use other 3rd party apps like Hue Halloween, Hue Disco etc.
I was going to buy these but after seeing what the Twinkly settings can do, id prefer twinkly . Surprised that Philips are very limited with the effects on string lights 😕
Phillips hue has some great products that beat competitors but festavia lights are not one of them... Twinkly are faaar better with much more features and way cheaper aw well.
Festavia, as with all other Philips Hue lights, is simply too expensive. I've been using Philips Hue since it first came on the market, and over the years, they've been too expensive; simply because there was no competition from when Philips Hue started. But now, when it comes pouring in with bulbs and light options from lots of manufacturers, it is only a matter of time before Philips has to lower the prices, or they will simply be outcompeted. Look at Twinkly, which is way, way ahead of Philips Hue's Festavia, has a lower price, and a product that is light years ahead of Philips.
Good to see a video from you again hope you do some more hue videos soon
I've got more coming frm CES which will be sooo fun! :)
