If you are like me and end up losing the frame frame nut inside the hole, just use some type of wire/cable, duct tape some decent magnets to the end and fish it out. Using fingers will make it worse or harder to get, better yet from the beginning just make sure you use a wire like they say in the instructions. Most important part is to line up the grooves then pull down while you screw it in. After that it’s a cake walk solid product!

Although I go to he track 3-4 times per year I’ve never seen or heard of someone hitting the skid plate at the track and if your going so fast you rip or damage the skid plate maybe you should not be driving. Now we all hit those parking lot bumpers but it’s at such a low speed the bumper cover take the hit. So why the added expense and weight. And you don’t make it for the M5 or M6 not sold on the idea.
I was following an 18 wheeler and one of their tires blew and it went under my car destroying the stock skid plate and damaged lines. Main reason i went with this is because of the price difference between OEM parts vs Turner Skidplate was a wash. If you're not worried about hitting anything or don't have damaged piece already, no big reason to buy. It is very high quality and looks amazing installed.

18.5 lbs. the original fiber one is 3.5 lbs.
Would be cool to see this in carbon fiber along with the skid plate for the oil pan.

You could hit road debris, an animal, a cone if you autocross, etc. Plenty of way to rip off the OEM belly pad without going to the track.
