Taking speed running the Act 2 elite challenge to the next level using an "instantly get in the Avenger" trick and a "hover mode super speed flight" trick.
Air Support role with ThitiyaNirvana as Sub Team.
At the time of uploading this was a new 2 player, console world record time, tied with my crew's other time.

Teleporting into the Avenger from the water has now been patched with the Casino update. I tried it out myself and I couldn't get it to work.
The hover mode speed glitch still works though and it can save up to 15 seconds on the flight to the hanger.
8.28 is my fastest time as Air Support as 2 players without the 2 glitches. There was a bug that made my flight take 10 seconds longer than normal, so 8.03 would be possible with the hover mode speed glitch. ruclips.net/video/pNomBb5guSg/видео.html

Fastest I could get was 11 minutes but I wasn't watching videos then trying what they did my setup was to get a dodo at the surface and land it at the avenger my landing is on point but this cargo bob is the key to getting faster
Fastest I got without videos was 9:56. Me and my bro let the entire friend group know who was in charge.

How'd he get into the avenger from the water
The game has a feature that "teleports" your character into the vehicle if access to the door is blocked. You usually see it happen if you're trying to get in a car that's parked in a tight space.
This is a similar situation. If you climb on the Avenger and as you walk off you press the required button (triangle on PS4) to enter it, the game thinks access to the door is blocked, so it "teleports" your character inside. It's actually quite hard to get right. Like only 1-10 attempts would be successful.

How so you keep sprinting while your interaction menu is open???
I've changed my control settings from "Standard" to "Standard FPS". This swaps sprint with stealth. So on PS4, instead of pressing L3 to enter stealth mode and tapping X to sprint. I hold L3 down to sprint and press X to enter stealth mode.

how much time do u save by going in first person? (in submarine)
The last time I tried running through the sub in 3rd person it took me about 1.30 from when I first loaded in to when I took the photo. I hadn't had much practice though.
In first person I've managed to complete the run in 0.56. It's a lot easier running in the tight spaces in 1st person. It might take a few adjustment to your settings to get it right. I have something like 3 or 4 clicks from empty in the "1st person look around" setting.

@@xogamer2838 Yeah if they're too sensitive, it can be hard.
I tried running through the sub in 3rd person yesterday. It took me 1.14 so 18 seconds longer than in 1st person. It was noticeably slower running around and especially when going up and down stairs. I believe this is the case for running in all interiors and all stairs.
My 1st person settings are:
Standard FPS
First person look-around sensitivity 5
First person aiming sensitivity 12
First person aim/look deadzone 1
First person aim/look acceleration 8
It might be easier using a different setting to Standard FPS as it requires you to press the left stick down as well as forward, but that is what I use as it allows me to run with the Interaction Menu open so I can eat snacks at the same time.
When I first started running in 1st person I had the look-around sensitivity on 1, but as I've got more practice I've found increasing it to 5 is better.
I have a question so let’s say you want to buy a new facility but u have a act 2 if u buy one will you have to do all of the preps again all over
I’ve never changed facilities so I don’t know. I would guess that everything saves, you might just lose facility upgrades, but probably wouldn’t risk it just incase you do lose everything.

@@SMSmith1990SMS it's kinda hard too see what he's doing since his controllers are mapped differently. Does the technique have a name that I can use to look for more videos of it?
fakingtrels We used to refer to it as “Dolphin flight” as it’s similar to the way a dolphin swims in water, constantly leaping up out the water to breath. Or simply “hover mode speed glitch”. That video of the Hydra was the only video I could find at the time, but there may be more videos explaining the technique out now.
It’s simply just push forward and accelerate, then pull back and brake. Do it slowly, so like alternate every second.

If you’re closing the app to replay the heist straight away again, you want to make sure the host only takes the minimum of 15%. Since they won’t make any money but the other player will, you want them to make as much as possible, so 85%.

Whenever i take my bike to ride around after i have dropped the stromberg, it says im leaving the mission, is this patched or something?
I think you might be going too close to the Avenger when you're riding around. If you notice in my video, I kept away from the Avenger whilst I was waiting for the sub team to finish the cutscene. As soon as I pulled up next to the Avenger, I got told I was "Out of Area" and had only 30 seconds to get back in area. So I had to be quick.
The reason why I stayed away from the Avenger was to delay the Buzzards spawning. You could go straight to the Avenger after dropping off the Stromberg and fly it to the pick-up spot, but the Buzzards would be shooting you the whole time you're waiting for the sub team to come out.

How did u manage to spawn above the submarine and not under it
You used to spawn above the sub all the time, it changed recently but I’m not sure if it was an intentional change by Rockstar or if it’s just a bug that may or may not get patched.
It makes more sense to spawn above the sub as you climb UP a ladder to exit through a hatch ON TOP of the sub, so I would assume it’s a bug.

zaza.berlin It might have been patched, I haven’t played in a while so I’m not sure. I’m going to try it again soon though. It was never easy in the first place though. It would only work 1 out of 20 attempts.

Opened the interaction menu to equip Body Armour and eat Snacks to regain health.

There are alot of easier ways to do this and faster
Of course there are easier ways. We weren’t trying to make it easy, we were trying to set the fastest time possible. This method has since been patched, I don’t know of any faster ways to complete the elite challenge without using glitches or mods. If you know of any faster ways, please let me know and post a link to a video so I can check it out.
I currently hold the world record on console for 2, 3 and 4 players and whilst locked to 1st person view. All times verified on the GTA Forums Elite Challenge Leaderboard.

On PS4, you close the app when the cutscene starts after you land in the hanger.
