Beamtown Bullies already has haste, so all those haste enablers are pretty much useless. Also Leveler is great in this deck, it has to be the strongest creature you can reanimate during an opponent's upkeep.
I just played this build yesterday. The mana drops were good. Never was stuck trying to find a color. Turns were quick. Easy mechanics for the table to follow. I give it 9/10. Advise: Play nice. Play with good sports and friends. Don't aggro on only one player. Offer to let other friends try it too. Play it once a night 😆. Have fun.
I have only been allowed to play this deck twice with me group. Every time I try to bring it out now, it’s met with groans and threats of violence lol 😂
Soulgorger Orgg can be responded to and you can destroy it before the ETB resolves so the enemy is stuck with 1HP. Worldgorger Dragon is pretty much the same but removes the whole board, including the lands.
As others have pointed out TBB already has haste but also the creature you 'gift' your opponents gets exiled in their endstep so removal is less of a concern imo - unless youre purley using it for recursion
@toddpacker1015 I'm pretty sure you can just deflecting swat the leveler and give it back to them lol. Or at the very least change the graveyard target.
@@albertcohee7757 you can't change who reanimates it the leveler but you can change what gets reanimated, but you can always build the deck with only creatures that kills a player on the spot. What I found as the best creatures to do the job are leveler, inverter of truth, worldgorger orgg and worldgorger dragon, with the last two neededing a creature removal in instant speed to really eliminate them.
A card that's really good for the deck is phyrexian negator. Its a little harder to find being a reserve list card but you basically take out an opponent if someone has a blocker
I built a deck using this commander, I played against my girlfriend and told her "this will be quick" turn 4, bullies were out and I put an inverter of truth onto the battlefield on her side, losing her the game. I play a lot of kill creature cards and instant damage cards so cards like worldgorger dragon, soulgorger orgg, and thornbite staff can work well in the deck since killing the creature before their end step allows me to put it back into my graveyard. I also built the deck around discard and cycling so I can wheel the bad cards into my graveyard but it also gives me more creatures to summon at opponents since discarding is useful to me but detrimental to them.
There are a lot other scarier things you can "give" to your opponent. While golgari cave troll is normally around $6 i would fill the deck with Dredge cards. Also, Beamtown bullies from my experience has very similar issues to most aggro decks in that you find yourself competing for third place. Also, Beamtown bullies is "shut down" by most any deck that can sacrifice it's own things which is why you want to use ETB's and not actual creature effects like "when this creature is dealt damage, it deals damage to you." Really neat concept though.
My buddy has this deck. Just never let the beamtown resolve and it does nothing. It is pretty funny though. I let it take a couple people out before i blow it up if its after me in theb turn rotation.
I went to the decklist link, showed the price of the deck as 25 bucks. I clicked “Buy this deck” and selected all categories of card conditions - final price 177 dollars….what happened?!?
This was popular for a few months when it came out in snc 3 years ago, but its a one line kind of deck and gets old to play quick. Not much thought in plays or variation of how it can win
Nice concept. That video made me laugh. But cards like Jackal Pup are totally useless. As soon as your opponents realize what you're doing with your deck they stop to cooperate and you're the one who will be bullied.
Gloom Surgeon (from Avacyn Restored) would be fun to throw at an opponent with this strategy. Whenever it takes damage, instead that many cards are exiled from the top of the deck.
Its ability triggers at the same time. No matter if it gets removed (in the end step), cause the trigger is already on the stack, so no matter which one resolves first. The only way it doesn't trigger its ability is to kill it before end step.

he also has a tone of tap abilities in the deck so its not a terrible idea to have haste in the deck just to speed it up

Get the card leveler to spice it up.

To quote "Beamtown Bullies into Leveler combo is one time only. One time becaues you'll be promised physical violence if you pull it a second time.

Its a lot of fun. Best part is having to explain why killing the Leveler doesn't stop the Leveler's effect.
Laughs in torpor orb
@@albertcohee7757 That's when you pay 5 mana for a 10/10 with no drawbacks

Those cycling big creature cards are a great synergy for the deck. Going to look for more.

I built this commander as soon as Streets of New Capenna released. Needless to say that deck has been retired sitting on a shelf for over 2 years now.
This deck exists only to keep my table in check. No one wants to be bullied, not even the Eldrazi fanatics.
Why retire it?

I haven’t pulled the trigger on this deck since I got the Henzie precon last October, it’s time
this is “if Jerry Seinfeld played magic “
he does kinda look like him
voice and everything

This would be even more spicy if it did not specify non legendary because of phage the untouchable
I would also like to add in leveler to get rid of an opponents library
What are the best creatures to take someone off the table? Leveler, Inverter of Truth, Worldgorger Dragon. Any more?
I love old stick figners to much. I have it in 2 decks already.

just baught the precon with him in it yesterday
I think you missed the part that this commander already has haste! Plenty of free slots for the list

Shipping. As a s&g I set it to near mi t only and it was $94 with $95 in shipping

Glad MH3 is released so we can go back to videos like this 😸
I convinced my friend to build this commander about a year ago and it is just so unfun to play against 😅
This deck is so much fun 😂

Wouldn’t plague reaver get exiled before it does its end step trigger?

The bullies!!!
So just black red green Jon Irenicus?
Kinda, Jon doesn't exile the creature it just sticks around until it dies
I love a deck that can run awful creatures
Why not Phage, the Untouchable?
Phage is a legendary creature
@Crazylopimp thank you...I missed that part of the ability.
