He's been a smart ass in several films I haven't seen. I didn't like him until I saw The Outsiders. His best role. I think he's aged well. He had his teeth done which is a great improvement. He's different. He doesn't fit the typical stereotypes of Hollywood.
People like you are disgusting. Self centered, all you really care about is looks and public image. If you actually looked into it youd know he wasnt a smart ass at all. Just because the roles he got required him to be a smart ass in expense of the literal film, doesnt mean thats how he was in real life. I think he's great! Funny guy who seems pretty down to earth, and happens to be a really good actor. Plus he didn't fit the mould of the Hollywood Brat Pack stars of my youth - he didn't play characters who were 'jocks, criminals, nerds' who lived in fancy houses or had great clothes and cars even when they were supposed to be poor.I think he made a wise choice returning to Long Island to be a jobbing actor and a family man. I'm glad it's worked out for him. Then again, I'm 48 and had a massive crush on him when I was a teen😍. Okay, I still do..
