      That's what happens when all NFL teams think that, the SEC, ACC, & Big 10 are the only teams that got talented players. Purdy was very special for us - all Iowa State fans - and I hope he wins SBs with the 49ners.

    I'm so F***ing pumped to watch this kid lead my Niners, this coming season. He will go down as the all time steal in draft history and will NEVER be topped in that aspect. The way he looked when he did play last season, his ability to read the field like a 10 year pro, his awareness and agility... he's going to be a superstar in the league. Already bought one of his jerseys. Even non 49ers fans have to be excited for this kid.

      that's the understatement of a still very young season lol hes been killing it man...Leading the league in QBR and not far behind on accuracy... the thing that skews his numbers, weve been winning games by the 4th so he doesnt need to throw but 3 quarters a game lol... last night being a good example of that, niners pulled their starters on both sides by the 4th quarter... @@yoda5389

    • @phillipschaber7836
      @phillipschaber7836 Год назад

      perfectly fine.. I'm not worried about 1 game played in crappy weather.. He was bound to have a bad game eventually and the fact that he didn't turn it over more than that, makes me happy. Its possible too it was just a misunderstanding of the route on his part. I'm not worried though.. Cleveland had a good defense, they played a good game.
      That unnecessary roughness penalty on what would have been 4th down was a nice touch too lol... but that's not why we lost, we played a sloppy game, straight up... He will be better for it though... hopefully anyway.
      He's been riding the hype train for the last 4 weeks and then go figure the week they named him an MVP favorite, was the week he had his first really bad game and it wasn't even really "bad" the weather sucked, CMC went out, Deebo out, and he still gave us the chance to win and then Moody choked on his thoughts... but no, I don't think that loss is anymore his fault than it is anyone else.. it was a good game, frustrating but good.
      Hopefully we just take this long week, correct any mistakes we can, hopefully get CMC and Deebo back and then get ready for the Viks on Monday night.. should be a good game though I highly doubt it'll be as close as the Cleveland game was lol. @@Graphics_Card

I think he was number one drafted overall.. and WAS A FUCKING FART IN THE WIND!!! TREY LANCE TOO.. WTF!! Shit pissed me off to no tomorrow. And on top of this shit they are getting paid in college… all around a mess. Only to have people with real talent such as Purdy and Brady be over looked entirely…
      Something isn’t adding up. There’s a HUGE flaw in how teams are recruiting.. I haven’t figured it out. If I did I’d be rich beyond my wildest dreams..

    Brock has ALL the intangibles that football coaches cannot quantify or measure. Thats pocket presence, calm and cool as ice, vision, ability to evade a collapsing pocket, football iq, doesnt make very many mistakes, ability to read defenses, he knows exactly what to do, he has the hack to the nfl game. With all this, you dont need to be big, fast, have crazy arm strength, or any of that stuff. Just amazing watching this guy dominate NFL defenses.

    • @a1kid
      @a1kid Год назад

      In this day and age, I think that is likely very accurate. Unfortunately, when these fantastic black athletes hit the NFL, where every single player was the biggest/strongest/fastest guy in school too, athleticism goes out the window and the mental game is what counts. HS and college take advantage of the athleticism and don't prepare those guys for the NFL.
      While pretending to want to right past wrongs and 'diversify' the position, they are doing these kids a disservice and helping to perpetuate the black QB myth that they claim to be fighting.@@christopherwharton6022

If it weren't for the injuries to Lance and Garoppolo, he would not have seen any playing time for SF either. They’ll never admit it, but scouts get caught up in big programs. Since naturally higher rated programs obtain a big chunk of the high star recruits. So it’s a natural assumption to take most of their players. Everyone’s mouth drools for the big program players and a lot of the time, studs from small programs are neglected and they drop even though they ball out. This has always been the case.

Clearly looking at his films, he made all kinds of nfl throws and if you pay close attention, he knew exactly where he was going with the ball every time. He even competed with the best of em and had a hell of a game. There is absolutely nothing that showed me he was the weakest of his class. He is by far the best QB from his class period!
