i remember in the 1980 i was working as an junior engineer at GTE Sylvania in Drummondville Quebec Canada , we had similar machines except no vision camera we were producing projector lamps flash incandescent lamp halogen lamps and a huge machine for fluorescent 4 feet ans 8 feet tubes . this video remember me good memory
8:53 - Checking the UV absorbing coating. It prevents UV light coming out of the lamp, protecting the optics and reflectors in the car. It's a phosphor which converts UV light into blue light, while allowing visible light to pass through. At 11:55 you can see it working, it's visible as a blue haze in the glass when operating.

Those machines have been designed incrementally over many decades. The first machine probably only cut glass tubes then each next step module was designed and tested then added and so on until many decades later you have that incredible production line that probably never breaks down and only needs some maintenance one a year.
Tips Use alcohol wipe to clean the dust and finger print from the light bulb before installing will significantly prolong the lifespan of the head lights.
It is amazing to see how automated the manufacturing process is. It seemed strange to me that at some point it was people who put the bulbs in the box and there was no machine doing this process.

I first thought the same but then came to think that it perhaps may be some small quality assurance reason for that since if something went wrong with the machines they could pack a huge number of lamps that were completely broken to pieces even which a human would instantly discover.
@@Stefan- with the hundreds of sensors and pictures being taken at regular intervals, I'm not sure that could happen. But she can't stop for anything. and if she has to toss one, that box continues and gets closed and packaged.
@@AffordBindEquipment She may certainly toss a box if she cant fill it in time and if the machine starts to produce a number of mangeled lamps you would surely stop it. I doubt the machine is intelligent enough to stop automativally because of what is in the pictures, more likely is that these are monitored by a person during manufacturing and/or used for evaluation of the manufacturing process. Anyway, its just my thoughts regarding this as someone that has worked in manufacturing of electronics although not on any automized line or anything and being an electronic service tech for 35 years.
Actually, there are about 30 or so people monitoring each step and process to ensure smooth operations of the machines and to stop and make corrections if something goes wrong

It seemed strange to me that at some point it was people who put the bulbs in the box and there was no machine doing this process.
My guess is 1/100 boxes don't open properly, and they don't want them falling all over the place.
Final quality control perhaps?

كل ما يحدث على الارض هو دليل قدرة الله وحكمته وعلمه العظيم ولطفه الكبير بخلقه .
