I think the KRK is the best sounding speakers I have used for listening to music, but I prefer mixing on my Focal Twin Evo. Get a more detailed sound that makes it easier to find mistakes, and get things right.
I'm still using the Rokit 6 g2's. They were on sale because no one wanted the Ferrari red. They're good enough for me since I just needed something for my turntables.
I haven't listened to KRK G4's but I had G3's I Gave away my G3's to my older brother I hated how they sounded switched to Yamaha Hs8's & liked those better
Precisely why some people mix on Yamaha NS10's. They know how to get the results they are looking for with consistency. What happened to your Adam Monitors? Have you decided to stay with the iLouds?
My Adam’s are still being shipped from my old studio. The shipping process is taking longer than expected, but I should have my Adams back next year… i like the iLouds, but my Adam’s are definitely just another step up 🫡
Honestly, they're not perfect, but they're far more than good enough for pretty much anything. KRK punches above its price, in my opinion, and I know how mixes done on these speakers will translate. The best equipment, is the equipment you have and know best.
Could you make a new video about heaphones like Sony_MV1 & M1_ and the Warm Audio ones ? I personaly use the Sony Mdr 1, it's a beautiul underdog and should get more publicity. Love your vids. best regards LRO.
They may be just fine, but once you've used the current generation of Adam they simply aren't in the same universe. Adam is simply THE best as far as accuracy and detail revealed allowing for the finest mix results.
No.... home recordists don't need any monitors imo. You can do excellent mixing jobs with 2 pairs of good quality studio headphones. Save $100s and a lot of space with headphones
You learn to edit with one set and your work is widely accepted ? Why would you ever want to change your monitors ? You swap out too many pieces of equipment and change too many knobs . You wake up one day and that special sound everyone could recognize early 36 mafia sounds like everything else on the radio .
@@hailnaryproductionz3661 no it's about creative music making or straight up mixing. You can use whatever speaker that sounds good to you for making your music or headphones but for mixing u need a flat and honest sound without distortions and as clean as possible. Krk is one of those brands that color their sounds. Its like saying hs8 are good for mixing. Its just not true. Focal is a better option in this price range that's all i'm saying but believe whatever u want to. these just aren't flat sounding speakers.
I am still using the Rokit 5 G3's. What matters is what our ears are used to.
I recently bought the KRK 5 G5. Love them
Mac miller also used Krk in his studio also, but most importantly your room acoustics matter most and first before speakers do.
Very cool video! I actually love my yamaha s7 very much, but it was a close call between the krk at the time :D

I dunno...but I absolutely love my Kali LP UNF's I just got....little beasts!
Kali monitors will drastically shoot up in price eventually. They're way good.

watching this on my krks g4
I’ve always been more of a fan of the Yamaha HS series monitors but a lot of people like the KRK’s, just not for me but was still a great video.

Krk gen 4,especially 8 inch are great
I really like my Rokit 5 G4

What song were you playing when you did the sound test?

Krk is a barman style tuning, very natural tuning
Hello my friend, which montage do you recommend and which is better, YAMAHA HS8 or KRK?

You should have bought the older gen which they're selling again called as the classic series.
These new generation one's sound very incoherent.

Mackie MR 624 best studio monitors under 500 euro

Can i have them?
Benny worked with Justin, what a crime
Why should it really matter about the year though 😂
NEVER go with krk... go with focal. Massive difference, no cone distortions and way more value for the price.
As a Focal owner, yes. Though they are kind of in different price brackets tho.
Depends on the application of the type of music you’re working on
