Dragging a bear out of a den does nothing to hurt them. They actually fight with each other for survival and canabalize each other in a much more violent way than you can ever imagine. They are extremely tough animals.

    • @joshclearwater6461

Interrupting their sleep is typically DISASTROUS for a bear....They are trying to sleep through the season when food is scarce...
It doesn't matter how "tough" an animal is when it's on the edge of starvation. They should be left TF alone at this time.

This is not comparable. It probably annoyed the bear but they didn't hurt it or cause any long term problems. Bears wake up and move around their dens to eat in hibernation already. I agree with you. This is the case with circus bears. They are not able to hibernate. Cause they spend most of their lives in cages. They don't need to conserve their energy during winter time(when food is scarce in the wild) cause they are being fed by people. But they are not affected if they don't hibernate. It's just sad that they are not able to do bear things. To live a normal bear life. And that includes hibernating.

I don't think people exactly understand why we do this, soo would you people rather instead of sparing animals so we can learn about them we go back to not understanding them, calling anything with teeth a dangerous monster, and killing them on sight? cause the only reason we stopped killing animals on sight was that our curiosity drove us to learn about them, which we can do far better when they are alive, keep in mind it was us learning about animals, just how endangered many of them our that stopped us from continuing mass slaughter of them, if we hadn't learned about elephants and seen how few of them are left, we probably would've wiped out the elephant species simply because we killed them all, same thing for whales, sharks, etc, although unfortunately shark and whale hunting is still allowed in some countries.
So you talk crap about people for pulling a bear out of its den and condone scientists from learning and trying to understand as much as we can about bears so we can maybe help a few endangered species survive.
You don't realize it is because of scientists that we don't perform mass slaughter of all nearby large animals, 500 years ago, a single sighting of a large bear near a village or any settlement would've had a hunting party sent out not to hunt the bear for food, but to kill it just because we are afraid of it.
So take from this, that this bear suffered for a few minutes of annoyance, but in turn, could've helped save the lives of members of its own species, or other bears, by providing us with more info on how bears bodies act when they are hibernating, also for all you guys know, that bear could've been sick or had a problem and the vet wanted them to bring the bear in to make sure it is recovering. not to mention the bear was tranquilized, cause if he wasn't, he would've turned around and swung on them, thus meaning this bear had no idea it was even being picked up.

This study didnt help at all. We know bears are sleepy being woken up
And you’re kidding yourself if you think EVERY SINGLE HUMAN except ‘scientists’ wanted predators dead instantly🤣

@@clutch7548 first of all your responding to something I wrote more than half a year ago, second you misunderstand my point, proving your lack of knowledge of history. Centuries ago, before people began to research animals and their habits, before we learn more about nature, we used to believe everything we didn't understand was a monster and was immediately set to be hunt down, from whales to fantasy sea creatures, this fear was even worse on land, bears are extremely large carnivores, and will not hesitate to defend themselves, and because humans are so stupid, we walked into bear territory, threaten the bear, then proceed to get torn a new asshole for it, obviously, we are to stupid to realize the other guys mistake, and go do the same shit against the same bear, again, and when we get sent to hell for it, the living get pissed off, and begin to call the bear a monster, telling stories of a monster with black fur and teeth sharper than swords and all that bullshit, why? because we didn't understand shit about bears, walked into a mother bears home and threatened her cubs, got warned to back the fuck off, ignored the warning, got killed, then the living got mad and wrote those bullshit exaggeration stories, leading to a giant bearhunt, ending in the mother bear and all her cubs, or any other bear they run across, being killed and hung up as trophies. And this continued for centuries with all kinds of animals, not just bears, hell even a particularly aggressive deer or moose was hunted down and executed, and not for food, just because people are afraid of it and want the glory. Humanity fears what they dont understand, and because of that, we put the blame for everything that goes wrong on the animal who was just protecting itself, or its cubs, scientists by learning about animals, learned that its not their fault, its our fault, we start the shit cause we are stupid and clueless, seriously all the bullshit we are learning about animals are shit that other animals learned millennia ago, not to fuck with a mother bear was stuff that other animals learned ages ago, but we didn't, because we proclaim ourselves to be smarter than nature

I would’ve watched this if you could spell hibernation. But if you can’t spell your title correctly, then I doubt you know anything about the subject.
