Thanks, mate. That is definitely a good video with instructions for disassembling and assembling it. Thoroughly, you went through it and did a step-by-step. Well done.👍👍
Great video, made the job very easy. Just a note: if your horn didn't work, you're not going to discharge the system pressing it! I recommend switch the lights on. Thanks a lot!
Great video. if you change one of these and find the traction control light come on and / or the front brakes grab when you first drive off the steering angle sensor is likely the issue and needs a calibration. (decent scan tool required as the Jaycar ones don't have that level of detail). You can stop the brakes grabbing by pressing the traction control button until fixed.
Hi mate, it happened to me unfortunately.... I accidently changed sensor angle and I can't go back anymore. Is there any other way to reset SAS or just need to go to a mechanic and do the calibration on proper scanner?
Great easy video mate. One thing I do always when I'm disconnecting & reconnecting plugs is squirt a little contact cleaner. Don't forget that over time it can accumulate dust & grime and you could get a faulty signal/connection from the plug. It'll most likely be years before you get back to those connectors again. With Holdens clockspring, it's good to get a spare from the wreckers as they're in short supply.
Hello mate I have changed the clock spring on my Nissan X-Trail now my ABS light coming on what else I I should have done? I was wondering if if you can give me advise thank you mate 🙏
G’day After changing my clock spring, all the front light turned off and are not able to turn on anymore. My horn (which was the issue) is working but no longer the light. I have no idea what could have occurred. Any idea ?
@@downtheshedwithbyron This model with Manual gearbox is very nice and very reliable, and they are very rare as Most of Xtrail T31 gasoline are CVTs, and the CVTs are not reliable.
Hope this video helps you out give your self about 30mins to an hour to do the job

Id probably check the light stork is plugged in
I did, seems to be correctly connected. Is there a fuse related to this stork or anything else I could check ?
Is your Xtrail gasoline or Diesel?? And what is the engine capacity???
