Hi there! I'm looking forward to hearing about all bookish things you want to share with us. From an oldie content creator to a newbie, welcome aboard. We're so glad to have you here!
Thank you so much; this is crazy because I once watched your video about Blood Red Meridian, which inspired me to purchase and read it. You played a part in my obsession with Westerns. Thanks!! :D
@@AnAverageReader07 That's really humbling to hear! Not sure I've never heard someone say that before - especially since I don't think I've read a single Western since I read that book. I sincerely hope you enjoyed the video. Looking forward to seeing what you do with your new channel!
Hello and welcome to book tube. I'm still pretty new and finding my way around. Best wishes with what you choose to read and to your channel. Happy reading to you.
I actually ended up dnfing Before the Coffee Gets Cold (partly as I didn’t enjoy the characters, partly due to the translation actually - it felt quite literal to me). I think you may enjoy Convenience Store Woman, by Sayaka Murata, which touches on interesting themes of Japanese society and fitting into it (the main character is obviously autistic, although I don’t think it’s stated explicitly); of Murakami I’ve actually only read the Strange Library, which was a fun, quick read.
Welcome to the BookTube community! That’s quite a haul. Happy Reading 😎📚👍
Thank you!! 😊

I started Murakami with Dance, Dance, Dance followed by Norwegian Wood

Love the vlogs so far! I dig your choices. Hope you go far and wide viewership...Murakami reco: Kafka on the shore.
Ah, thank you! I've added Kafka to my wishlist. My birthday is in two weeks, so I'm hoping someone will get it for me then. 😅
