Took 12 minutes to say that White Dustin is the only LIGHT Fiend that can be summoned easily with Normal Monster support, allowing you to turbo to your Fiendsmith Engine.
This is why I love the game. Only in Yugioh a monster without effect and no use even in his own archetype suddenly become a key piece of a competitive strategy.
Someone resolved a magical merchant the other day on me in a tearlaments deck. Nobody expects the old cards anymore. Crazy tech like that is why this game is awesome.
While it is cool, I think the novelty dies out when you see this happen time and time again as more and more cards and archetypes come out. Coincidences in different classifications of playable cards are going to happen. This is related to the law of truly large numbers. Please don't take this negatively. The law of truly large numbers is an important concept to keep in mind generally speaking.
Due to the player being found out of manipulating the facts around how well the deck list did, price has dropped down significantly overnight and card stores are refusing to buy any more White Dustons
Because the light fiend monster is very weak and did not get support, we only get the dark fiend and also the normal monster, which is less supported in recent years. Also, no one plays rush duel. I don’t know why you mentioned it in the first place
@@GrapeCheckerBoard rush duels are available on Duel Links but Duel Links is a terrible app due to its fundamentaly broken economy. You can't craft cards so why bother trying? The litteral only reason I play Duel Links at all is because I have a friend whose phone can't handle Master Duel and I occasionally want to play with him
Formud is good starter that often slept upon. Stuff like copying Scareclaw Light-Heart to summon it & search both Field for Visas access & Parallel Exceed at the same time, which by itself net you +2 cards (3 if you activated Field). If opponent Imperm'd/Veil'd it, you can still summon Linkuriboh & search Parallel Exceed. If they somehow negate the search as well? Good, they wasted 2 cards for 1, which still nets you card advantage. EDIT: Forgor Linkuriboh banned in TCG, well, any Link 1 counts.
@@raydhen8840linguriboh is still available and can net you a trap negate if for whatever reason you want it. Not nearly as good as poor linkuriboh but still an option.

A full-on Duston deck only works about 10% of the time but when it does it is the worst lockout your opponent can experience. The effect Duston's can't be tributed, when Starduston comes out they can't flip anything face up or special summon... Combine that with spell fragrance and they're probably going to fill up their board and not be able to do a damn thing while Starduston sits at over 4,000.
i was just looking at this card on masterduel yesterday thinking man why are these normal monsters still being printed when just about no one uses them in most strategies
Dimensional Allotrope Varis is also a good one as it has an effect to change its type and attribute. It’s also a psychic type, so beaming it out with e-tele makes it so accessible 👍🏻
Didn't Raito get outted for fabricating that list and puts into question his OCG tier lists? It's why White Duston is at $3 and people regret buying him into the blind hype. It's why he immediately made new tier list and apologized for the confusion. Still makes his past lists and newer ones sketchy.
Unexpected Dai + Draconnet = 7 starters off a single Normal monster. A bit bricky, but depending on how much you can get out of an engine it's been worth it from time to time. Formud Skipper and Elemental HERO Prisma are also options for getting into Fiendsmith thanks to Max and the Fiendsmith Fusions respectively because copying names always leads to funny ED interactions. Scareclaw used to use both of those to get to Lightheart by copying Visas with Astraloud or Lightheart with itself. You don't need ALL of those options if you're just on 40 cards, but on closer to 60(because of wanting to fit in other Fiend engines like Unchained or Yubel), throwing in a few extra play lines doesn't hurt.
I like how random a card relevancy in Yu-Gi-Oh! is. I wonder if there is someone who have a complete YGO monster card database on some excel file or something randomly on their PC.

Not exactly lied but did some pretty insidious manipulation of facts. For one, their stated score of 6-0 at a competition was team score, not individual score. Their individual win/loss ratio with the deck list was 3-3. Also, the person who used the list was known for their weekly competitive tier list, in which they added “Duston pile” as a Tier 1 deck based on the fact alone they did well with it in one competition. What really shook this person’s credibility though was a scandal relating to Dragon Ball TCG, where they created multiple accounts to increase the chance of winning a prize lottery for the game.
Honest question, I may have missed something so feel free to correct me Isn't it possible to play something else to special a light fiend from deck which is not draconnet specifically? I was thinking about tour guide since there's plenty of good lv3 fiends, some light as well
Yugioh is a bit silly with evaluating card strength because every card depends on another card. Theres not many cards in the game that are just strong by themselves.
First of all, I don't understand in the combo why you're adding back Fiendsmith with Lacrimosa, and then add the spell just to special Lurrie while you can simply summon back Fiendsmith instead. It does the exact same and let's you keep the spell in the deck for later. It's just extra steps. Are you playing earth machine lol ? But anyways. I think it's very interesting, and very creative. BUT, I think it's bad. At least like that. You can't add extra bonus on your field when you draw other pieces of engine. Like, Gadget + Skipper + Dragonet doesn't achieve more than just Skipper. And the combo is nothing . It's so fragile. There's no recovery. And what's the point to do what Fiendsmith does every time in every deck on top of any combo, but just that. It really doesn't make sense to me. Cesar + Hat Hare off of Fiendsmith engine is doable everywhere. There's no point to dedicate a deck to JUST that. Sure there's a lot of non engine but might as well play evil twin, Tenpai or Snake eye, WITH Fiendsmith. It's hella bad. And you don't have any win con after that. If you get Raigeki-ed, you just have a stupid S:P and the Azurune, depending on your gameplay. What are you doing with Fiendsmith in GY ? Summon Lacrimosa to Longuan the opponent ?? What ? So yeah. There's clearly something, but this deck is disgusting. I hate it. Maybe just do the Eldlich thing you know. You put this + eldlich together and then you have a correct deck, that would have a true gameplan, board and follow up. Thanks for showing that us Squiddy
Ya its just extra steps that they dicided to do, but it lets u set up the spell in grave yard in case u want to fuse later i sappose. also gives u an extra light fiend in grave so u can shuffle it to burn 1200 with lacrimosa later when detached. as u mentioned u could just special fiendsmith and do the same combo XD but lurrie mite still be worth it to play so it makes hard drawing the spell become a free body extendar

Dang, there are more level 1 LIGHT Fiend Normal monsters in Rush Duel than the game with over 13000 cards. How is that even possible?

dracconets is nuts, it summons from deck and doesn't negate the effect of what it's summoning 😮

Angel Statue only works for Inherent Summons so the card isn’t anywhere near as good as it would have been

I’ve done a melodious unchained fiendsmith deck that can make some crazy boards off one card. Fiendsmith engine and melodious engine are broken
