- I was 100% inspired by Claudia and Stephanie to do this video! I did it quite differently but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless! And thank you ladies for the inspiration!!!

💯 Agree on the eye primer. It's pointless for me to apply any eye makeup without it. I'd love to see a round up video about all the eye Primers you have tried and what you think of them.
There are definitely many differences at least for me, unfortunately I have not yet found one that will get my eye shadow to last a whole working day
I use Milani eye primer. It’s not color cancelling. It does keep my shadows in place all day.

As for foundation Estée Lauder double wear sheer is my go to on a casual day.
I looooove that quad too, I considered buying a backup (not that I would ever run through it). The thought that one day it won't exists scares me. Golden Polaris over mauve, lilac, taupes is just so flattering and elegant. The purple blue and taupe is amazing too.
Also.. I picked up a Kiko Milano eyeshadow stick and it's so good.

Hi. My holy grail matte brown eyeshadow is the kiko high pigment 32. If you could, I would love to see the comparison of the victoria beckham eyeshadow with the kiko and other brands to see the difference in colour. Thank you for your videos. Hugs from Portugal.

I've only ever tried the old formula of the Dior concealer, and I liked it for the same reasons you mentioned liking the new formulation. I've heard that the formulas are very similar, so I'm thinking of trying it again when I need a new concealer.
The way you describe that Prada powder makes me REALLY curious about it. For the most part I prefer loose powders because they generally look lighter weight on me. But the format isn't very convenient, especially for travel.

I know! That VBB signature palette is soooo nice! And the powder blends out like a dream. 😍 I ordered 2 of her new palettes (olive and Victoria) that came earlier today and am just as in love. Her eyeshadows can do no wrong. They’re freaking beautiful… 😢
I am totally with you on eye primer…I have oily lids that are hooded. Everything creases. Primer was a revelation.
Some I love: NARS, I think it is being discontinued; makeup forever, milk, and for sticks Sigma one is great.
Lastly, the Lisa Eldridge matte liquid shadows definitely act like a primer. Awesome!

You are never boring. So don’t worry about leaving out your eyeliner step. And I know you usually don’t include highlighting the brow bone either. I find that to be a satisfying part of the eye because it just brings everything together, almost like finishing powder to the face.
I never used a primer either. What a difference it makes. I would have creasing, but mostly all this eyeshadow just disappear off of my eyes. After all that work and it would be gone in a matter of a couple hours.
All the eyeshadow you have shown, the Victoria, Beckham Brown, neutral one interest me the most. I use a lot of the lighter shade for the brow or as a base and not many eyeshadow palettes offer that option.
I’m not around Dior products much but I’m very curious about that concealer because I have not been able to find anything that I like either. There was a trend going around to have dark under eyes. I’ll take that all day. Let’s work for me.😊
I'm in the same boat with you regarding the eyeshadow primer, it was actually the starting point from where i got fascinated by high end make-up. First time i heard about eyeshadow primer... 10 years ago, i asked a friend that was going to a make-up course, and there was light!!! 😅

I love this video idea. I agree with all the products you mentioned (the ones I own), and I’m looking forward to using all of them today for a birthday lunch! I went into my first Kiko Milano store the other day and was sad that the color I wanted (28, a gorgeous golden green) of the long lasting pencil was sold out. It reminded me of the army color shadow from Wycon.
Estée Lauder Double Wearers UNITE! Thank you! I feel like this foundation is so ignored in the overall beauty community. I’ve tried so many of the trendy ones and honestly, none of them really feel as good as DB. The positive side of this is that I always find great deals on it (Sephora often has 50% off and I can also find it at outlet stores here).
Ooh, what a fun exercise! Since you asked, my HGs are:
Skincare: Farmacy Green Clean makeup remover, YSE Your Favorite Ex pads (game-changer), Vintner’s Daughter Essence followed by Serum (also a game-changer, HG-used it on my 82-year-old m-i-l and literally shaved off 20 years with 1 application…she cried, bless), Chanel Sublimage Eye Cream
Base: Love the Chanel and Dior primers-face-priming is a must for me-skin tint or light-to-medium foundation (products vary, but love the Chanel Waterfresh Tint and new Dior Hydra Foundation, plus the Danessa Myricks YummySkin tint…didn’t vibe with the Lisa Eldridge (found or tint), sadly)
Contour/Bronzer: Love Dior, Westman Atelier, or Victoria Beckham for contour; love PML, Gucci, RMS, Guerlain Terracotta, and Lancôme for bronzer
Concealer: Sisley and VB-everything else creases on my 52-year-old peepers
Blush: Gucci, PML, Chanel limited editions, RMS, Armani luminous silk liquid, YSL, Hermès plein air, Sweed (a dark horse)
Highlighter: Chantecaille Lotus Radiance, Chanel baume (weirdly!)
Eyes: primer a must (NARS is my go-to), PML Intensifeyes (another must), Sweed cloud & lash lift mascaras, and favorite shadow formulas are from PML (of course!), Natasha Denona, Hermes, YSL, Guerlain, Chanel (some), Dior (some), Clionadh (for indie multichrome bangers)
Liners: VB all the way with a few honorable mentions from Chanel and Dior (but the Dior seem a lot drier and drag, so…enh)
Brows: Victoria Beckham pencils and brow setters
Setting spray is a must for me-CT followed by UD All-Nighter; others don’t seem to make a dent, even my Lisa Eldridge and Mac Fix-Plus
Lips (totally forgot, haha, when they call me the Lipstick Queen!): Chanel Coco Bloom and Rouge Duo Ultra le Tenue, LE Lucents, Ravie Beauty, and MUFE only for liners (in both formulas); I like the Dior lip maximizers for sparkle, but they don’t last long at all, so once they’re done, I’m not repurchasing; best lip balm I ever tried in my life is the clear PML balm, I have about 3 or 4 floating around and use them daily
I’m loving doing the most these days, it’s very therapeutic and feels very self-caring. I don’t need it or feel naked without it, but I enjoy being extra-I’m living for it these days! Hope this was fun to read, because it was fun to write! Thanks for the great video and prompt! ❤

What a great video! I never ever do my eyeshadow without a primer. MAC 24 eye base is my holy grail. I almost finished the Lisa Eldrige liquid highlighter and will definetely repurchase 😊
yes to eyeshadow primer! it’s pointless to apply eyeshadow without it, it will be gone, by the time I leave the house

I will go to my local Dior counter to try the concealer bc of my very dry under eye area. Btw what skincare do you use before you apply the concealer?
Will try the eyelash primer since my eyelashes do not hold a curl either. Actually, for holding a curl I have been using mascara Clio Lash kill - It is great for holding a curl but just do not want to use it all the time because it is Waterproof.
Hello Mariam, I would like to recommend the HausLabs Hy-power pigment paints as eyeshadow primer - it’s the best product I have used for my oily lids - I mix the matte white and matte beige to create the perfect canvas for my dark and deep-set eyelids - my eyeshadow lasts all day with this (I mix the shades on the back of my hand and apply a thin even coat with a flat brush - I do one eye at a time because it dries every fast). I intend to check out the new YSL blushes at my local Sephora this weekend - I am most curious to see how the matte formula compares to the Gucci formula. The VB eyeshadow brick in Signature is still available here in Canada - let me know if you want a backup. Thank you for sharing your holy grails.

i feel so called out about the double wear haha! youre right, i am 25 & i would never approach the estee lauder counter because it doesnt seem like its for me! unlike other ‘grandma brands’ like lancôme and clinique i feel as though estee lauder hasnt done enough to appeal to gen z customers across the board from marketing to product launches. that being said im definitely going to try the double wear now, not only because im on the hunt for my own holy grail liquid foundation & that i am headstrong and want to prove you wrong, but also because you are the most discerning and tasteful youtuber ever and if its been your favorite for so long i gotta give it a go!
edit: PML baked shades are my reason for living. holy grail almost doesn’t do it justice! obvious but must be said. haus labs’ gel powder highlighters are approaching holy grail for me as well, and the last one I’ll mention is lisa eldridge’s enhancing tint🤩

Hi Mariam, I'm curious to know if you have used the Lisa Eldridge liquid silk eyeshadows as primer. I also have oily lids and ever since I bought those eyeshadows I can't stop using them as my base and I skip the primer all together. I'm not sure if they would work for you but might be a fun experiment to try 😉. I really love the way they make other eyeshadows look, and at the end of the day they look even prettier than when first applied which always surprises me.
For me at least they still crease.. freshly applied I love them however, such a beautiful finish

Mascara holy grail is Clinique High Impact Waterproof ( I can get anything else to smudge due to sweating and oiliness around my eyes). Concealer is Tarte Shape Tape for the same reason as I need a waterproof mascara - I sweat like a horse on my under eyes all year round😂 Powder is Chanel loose powder🎉🎉🎉 Eyeshadow is actually a stick like the Kiko but Bobbi Browns - this does not move an inch come hell or high water💦 Highlighter I prefer VB stick✨💫 Blush the same as yours🎉 Bronzer GUCCI number 3❤ Foundation EL DW🥳 Eyeshadow Guerlain Royal Jungle👑🦁

Уаааууу, каква разлика имаше при миглите! Обожавам есте лаудер нещата за очи, ползвам черния им молив от години и не бих го сменила с нищо! Явно ще си купя и праймера 😍
Впрочем една от палитрите на Vieve има много два много хубави кафяви матови цветове в нея. За жалост обаче глитерите не са топ качество, но матовите са много хубави. Искам да си взема и другата студена палитра, само заради хубавите матове.
За фон дьо тена… за пръв път чух за него от едни доста префърцунени госпожици на едно парти (mean girls накратко) и от тогава съм страшно скептична и все гледам подозрително и го свързвам с неприятни емоции 😅 Пробвала съм го, но не знам дали е за по-мазна кожа, моята е страшно суха и като че ли не ми допадна много. Бих му дала втори шанс само заради теб и положителните неща, които каза 😄
На Есте праймъра за мигли е супер! Недей да чакаш след като нанесеш и почти веднага сложи mascara. И едно око после другото.
Хммм мажо би ако имаш суха кожа пробавай sample първо. Имах предвид че double wear има разллични версии и някои са по-леки и може би по-подходящи за суха кожа.
@ задължително на следващото ходене в мола ще си взема праймера, ще скокна до Кико за тази спирала + има един стик шадоу в синьо който е уникален 🥰
За сампъл ще питам дали може да ми дадат, че не навсякъде дават с усмивка. Доволна съм най-много от Сефора в The Mall, там винаги една служителка ми дава сума ти неща като пазарувам 😀
