Thank you so much Sir for your content, even after 6 years it has helped a lot. Honestly I was lazy to learn this topic but after I went through your video I got the stepping stone I needed
All the best
I recently found your channel and immunology seems to be very difficult for me that's why I asked but now I have found your playlist thanks for telling Sir.
Your way of explaining is easily understandable.
Thanks again

One of the best video for such a tough topic.
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
When I have doubts my first preference is shomu's biology.....
Thank you so much for clearing my doubts 😇
All the best
You're the best!!!! Thanks a lot!!!! I remember I had emailed you about a certain question like 4 years ago and you answered, I appreciated it a lot, and ever since i have always came back to your channel when it comes to biology!! I just started med school and your channel will help alot!! :)
Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
sir, you explain it all in a simple way. easy to grasp.. really like your videos.. very much helpful... thanks a lot...
Thankyou very much sir, I had doubt on super coiling but seeing your video everything clear. After seeing your video,
It help me to present my presentation on this topic infront of my college teacher
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures. Please subscribe and share
Thanku so much sir I was totally confused in books it is written that lk. Is constant but in example it is changing but u cleared all my doubts
Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Sir here your tell us that linking difference = l- l0 but actually it is l0- l is the linking difference i think so... So the. Linking difference us +3 not -3 so it is positive supercoiling 🦹🤔
Everyone will not have a good teaching skill. You are blessed by god.
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
sir amazing I didn't know about this concept before watching your lecture
thankyou sir for clear my doubts
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
At 15:48, you wrote that it is positive supercoiling, how can it be +ve, if the Lk is decreased from 9 to 6, according to your discussion it should be -ve supercoiling. I didn't get it.
Such a nice lecture ❤️ the concept is clear ...
Thankyou sir ....
I always watch your lectures when I have doubts .
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Thankyou soo much you explained it soo easily I couldn't understand a word from book. You are of the best teachers out here.
Thank you so much Shomuda. I had quiet a confusion regarding the writhing during under and overwinding. Your additional example of replication solved it.
Awesome explanation sir.... Tq 🙏❤
You're welcome
Thank you so much really helpful ❤❤❤ Confused about it earlier but now crystal clear❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
First lecture and i am impressed just wao... U are Amazing Man❤
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
I don't understand unfortunately around 12:23 you said DNA has a right-handed (clockwise) helix having a right-handed supercoil (clockwise). That is right-handed helix structured DNA + right turn causes positive writhe right?
And you said around 19:33 "positive supercoiling = left-handed turn = clockwise direction". But why left-handed? shouldn't it be right-handed as you said before?
Ur r just awesome ur teaching is more better than 3D animation
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
You made me understand this topic very easiest way,,, Thankyou sir
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Thank you sir..it is very hard to understand the notes provided from college that's why I watch your lucture....it's very easy to grasp the idea thank you so much sir
Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures. Please subscribe and share
I want to be a teacher like you. Love your way of teaching. 🥺💕
Thank you
video was good but it would have been better if animation was available....i am unable to visualize the process still
just yesterday i found your channel, whilst studying for a test in my genetics module at the university.
you have an awesome way of explaining stuff, i guess i will come back to this channel many times.
keep up the good work!
+Dra'nakyuek, Destroyer of Worlds thank you. Glad to help you out. Stay tuned
You are an incredible teacher. Thanks a lot. Best of luck in your career
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Thank you so much sir for this wonderful explanation 🙏😇
Thank you
Excellent excellent 👌 explaination method is appreciatable!!!
Thank you
Another question - When a supercoil is formed as a result of double helix unwinding, topoisomerases fix that and remove the supercoil but the unwounded helix does not necessarily return to its initial helical state. Thus we get diffence in linking number.
This is how i get an image of DNA supercoiling after watching the video. Is it correct?
You are best teacher
Sir please make video in hindi
Super bro i got tensioned, u taught me in simple manner
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
Easiest way of explaining. Shukriya sir👌✌️
You're welcome. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures

You're welcome
Very well explained....
Finally understood the theory without animation..
bhai bahut aacha samzhaya hai maza aa gaya samazh ke
You're welcome
❤️Thankyou Sir.....
You're welcome
As the writhing number (Wr) can be both pos and neg and both increase or decrease the twist number (Tw) as the linking number (Lk) does not change in ccc it's all a matter of the Lk when Wr is 0 which equals Tw and if it's overwound or underwound with respect to Lk naught which is the linking number of fully relaxed DNA under physiological conditions which is usually bp/10.5 and this is what is changed by the Topoisomerases where the Topoisomerase I changes one twist and Topoisomerase II changes two twists (by changing writhes), right? So if delta Lk (Lk minus Lk naught) is negative the DNA structure is negatively supercoiled and has fewer twists when Wr is 0 and if delta Lk is positively supercoiled it has more twists when Wr is 0, right?
My professor - Shows confusing animations
me - I have a better option ( Shomu Sir ) :))))
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts
Thank you so much 🫂
You're welcome
I can't understand the leacture in my clg class ...... Thanks for this video ...very very needful for me.
Thank you
You're welcome
Thanks so much, I have my exam tomorrow!
You're welcome
?Right handed supercoiled is negative and left handed is postive in ccDNA why u said the opposite
Its writren in leninger...that right handed helix is positve
Thank you so much great explanation and teaching
muchas gracias! me ayudo mucho
Thank you
Sir u r excellent teacher... I understood very well
Thank u.. so much.. ur lectures always help me..

Great lesson...From Italy, my congratulations!
You're welcome
If anything…Thank you
Love u sir❤️
Thank you
Sir nice lecture
Thank you
you are explaining things very clear.....but my doubt is clockwise turn of double helix produces negative supercoils ....//// positive ...plz clarify that doubt....and clear many studenyts confusion. (becoz it is useful for many students)
I think it produces negative supercoil.
Thankyou sir for explaining this topic which is very difficult to understand.
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts to help
Pls make a separate video on topoisomerase
Okay
Bro ur awesome
Thank you
wow!!! I really enjoyed and learnt a lot of things from this video.
You're welcome
What do you think is the importance of the DNA to have a negative and a postive supercoiling?
A big thank you... 😊 For explaining supercoiling in such a relexed n easy way 🙏🙏🙏👌👌Awsome lecture ✌️✌️👏👌
Sir plz provide animation vedio for the same...
You are amazing 🤗👏👏👏👏👏 thank you
Glad you liked my lectures
Your lecture help me with those biology classes and you teach very well 🤗👏 thank you for all the work that you do.
acha dada bas inhi Ko reply 😊😊
Sir I didn't get it full if we talk about counterclockwise writhing, why doesn't the number of twists decrease?
Dna here has right handed twisting originally and upon being negatively super coiled why does its twists increase, shouldn't they decrease as it'll open the twisting??
Superb class
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
your voice is hardly audible but you explained it very well
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
Thank you sir...😊 Great to learn from you.
Glad to hear that you are getting benefit from the videos

Thank you sir
You're welcome
it was a wonderful explanation
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
Can't thank u enough❤️
Don't thank just like and share
Thanks a lot sir🙏☺
You're welcome
You made it super easy sir ji :)
Thank you. Glad you liked my lectures
I really appreciate the efforts..
But at 12:35 u said right handed coill means clockwise turn..is that correct?
Best lecture on this topic✨
Thank you
Sir left-handed supercoiling is positive and right-handed is negative so the writh will be positive in left n negative during right
Will you please explain how twist is decreased during separation of a closed circular DNA?
I feel like...I owe you so much!
Thnku sir
You're welcome
god bless you shomu
Thank you
Superb sir
Amazing lecture learnt a lot !!!
+Azra Thaseen glad to hear that
Sir it was really helpful... Thankuu
Sir..... Plz clear my doubt
Earlier in video u said DNA is right handed so if rt handed helix coiled in rt then wr will be positive
And later in video u said positive supercoiling is always left sided.... Plz help to clear concept sir
Thanku so much sir ... 😇
You're welcome
I think the LK should be 10 according to the drawing and the definition. Did I miss something?
me too i also think it should be 10
Absolutely ...
