People under estimate the toughness it takes to endure football. Charles Barkley said it best. He lasted 1 day at football camp in high school.

With respect to Nikki Glazer, who was fantastic, the late Greg Giraldo was the GOAT of roasts

Jordan Mailata said the 1st time he caught a helmet to the chest it laid him out. Now if a 6"8 375lb NFL newbie got laid out in pads...

If Doc Rivers was an NFL coach and GM, Austin could absolutely make an NFL team and get a big contract.

Charlie Ward would be the best person to answer this. I feel like he was the closest to pulling this off.

Of course more NBA players could play in the NFL than Vice Versa since the NBA is the more skill based sport. It is also why no NBA players could dream of being Pro at Ping Pong or Golf, they are so skill based that they would have no chance

Every running back in the NFL could legitimately compete in the NBA dunk contest

Westbrook could be a very good Linebacker. Of course younger LeBron as a MLB or TE. Steven Adams could be in the O Line and Ben Wallace as a Edge Rusher

What NFL linebacker is 200 pounds?

If he played LB he’d get eaten by a 6’4 300 plus pound guard, he’d be better at safety

I think Russ could play safety
I got 2 of current NBA players who I think could play
Prime Bron and Russ I think could ... But thats the only ones I'm confident in

To a certain extent, I think Chris is agreeing w/ Austin w/o knowing it. Chris is keying in on 5 or 6 NBA guys who he thinks could play in the NFL w/o having really looked at NBA guys. There's probably more if he really looks at it... Is it 30? Probably not.
And I don't think Austin meant that the NBA guys could literally walk onto a football field & play in the NFL tomorrow. But it given time, the NBA guys are the better athletes & more of them could play in the NFL than the other way around. Put it this way, if there was no NBA & these players grew up playing football instead of basketball, a bunch of them would probably be in the NFL. But if the reverse were true & there was no NFL, I don't think any of the football players would be in the NBA.

Austin Rivers career stats... SOUND LIKE if u translate that to the NFL,... HE AIN'T STARTING. Looks like 2 of his 13+ SEASONS he'd be first OFF THE BENCH, the other TEN or so SEASONS his stats look like they translate to 3rd STRING/ PRACTICE SQUAD PLAYER.
The REAL TEST THIRTY NBA guys WOULDN'T PASS is what I call in a NOT so eloquent way, " The GROUNDHOG DAY where you've been involved in a FULL SPEED head on CAR CRASH, " TEST! IF NBA GUYS SUCCESSFULLY PLAYING 🏈 MEANS BEING A ABOVE AVERAGE STARTER... THAT would involve PRACTICE! Not just walking on the field in the middle of regular season game. THUS, the DOZENS of HITS, EVERY DAY, EVERY WEEK, OF EVERY YEAR and the 45-60 plays oer game on GameDay.... YOU'RE STUCK LIVING A CAR CRASH IMPACT DOZENS OF TIMES A DAY, MANY DAYS A WEEK, FIR MANY YEARS STR8 FOR DUDES WHO NEED, " REST GAMES, " 30 NBA GUY'S DON'T PASS THE REPEATED CAR CRASH TEST! They don't want THAT smoke! Soooo MANY NBA guys say it flat out. They literally stopped playing 🏈 for THIS very reason. They didn't wanna get hit!
