- The Van Halen family is celebrating a special night. The late Eddie Van Halen's son, Wolfgang, alongside mom Valerie Bertinelli and girlfriend Andraia Allsop, tells Access Hollywood guest correspondent Emily Orozco at the 2022 Grammys how he's reacting to his first nomination. Valerie also shares her surprise at learning that Eddie got his first Grammy nod at Wolfgang's age, and gets emotional over her son's jewelry tribute to the guitar legend.

Oh no Valerie was crying at the end.Bless her she loves Eddie so much she said she was gonna cry after they zoomed in on Wolf's necklace with his dad's thumb print & birthstone.I never knew him and tears are falling from my eyes as I type she has alot to be proud of their son.

When Van Halen came into our lives in 1978, I thought Eddie was the best thing to happen to rock music at that time. They nailed the lid shut on the coffin of disco and brought live rock bands back into the clubs and back to popularity. I absolutely wore that album out at home and in the car. They really caused quite a stir. Now Wolfie is stirring things up as well. Way to go, man!
I remember, too! I was in middle school and my musicl taste was never the same after Van Halen...much to my dad's chagrin. 😂

I saw Van Halen in Houston at the Houston Coliseum and the Texxas Jam in Dallas in 1978. Eddie was one of a kind.....Wolf has Eddie's smile....
I'm a 58 year old man who grew up listening to Van Halen. I'm not ashamed to say that I cried like a baby when Wolfgang said the Necklace and Ring had his Dad's Thumbprint on them.
Eddie would be jumping up and down no doubt!! OMG this was so great! Valerie needed this to uplift her spirits!

She had someone on her instagram last year that was supposed to be a life coach but I don’t think it’s doing her any good. I know everyone has painful devastating loss in their lives but our losses aren’t broadcasted in public. IMO I think she’s having a harder time with Eddie’s death than Wolfgang. Anyway IMO she needs some meds and therapy.
I loved that he has been nominated but, the heart necklace with his dads thumbprint and birthstone is absolutely beautiful. Now I must get my moms. I just loss my baby brother Russell to brain cancer and 8 months apart I loss my middle brother Lance I so wished I knew about the thumbprint before cremation. The ring is nice too! So well deserved! Such a beautiful and wonderful human being. Both of his parents did such an amazing job raising him. He is so pleasant and gifted. He learned so much from each parent. The most amazing thing abt him, is he is gifted in his own right. He can write songs that touch the heart. This man has a longlasting future in the music business. Yes eddy vanhlen just after he died I synced his spirit with me for about 3 months. Just to show him what life was all about. I didn't really communicate with him but we grew to love each other. I think he will be a good friend one-day
